I have an AP1, and I’m pretty sure there has never been a drink in the cupholder over the last 15 years. The picture does a good job illustrating the wildly unusable positioning, though.
The way I tend to drive my S2k, a cup wouldn’t last long in any holder.
Mandatory listening.
While re-assembling the transaxle on my Alfa Romeo Milano, the 5th/reverse clutch ring slipped off the fork and permanently engaged 5th gear before the gear set went into the housing. I didn’t bother with a test shift pattern (which would have been absolutely trivial with the transaxle on the ground) because I’m an…
N64 is a real challenge simply due to how heavily Nintendo leaned on GPU hardware to render everything. Disc-based systems were able to store quick lookup tables. I spent a non-insignificant amount of time trying to get N64 to emulate properly on single board machines, but none of them (so far) have been able to keep…
I have a z32. It’s hilarious you think an injector is a 20 minute job because a different car took that long. I’m a pretty decent mechanic with the right tools as well a decade of familiarity with the car... And it took me about 25 hours to do the injectors on the z32.
I’ve had my z32 almost 10 years longer than my s2k. I love them both dearly. Both stock, both amazing. That being said, there are not even CLOSE to the same league in terms of maintenance, pleasantry of mechanical work, or even drivability. I drive the s2k at least 10 times more than the z32. Not necessarily because…
This is a really, really fantastic article. Thank you David.
I was in Iowa until very recently. Moved to Portland, OR.
Several reasons possible. Fuel lines tend to become very brittle and leak. Power steering fluid tends to drip on the headers, eventually igniting.
I feel like Graham and I are two souls, sharing the same plane of existence. I didn’t have the energy to write about it as much, but I was doing largely the exact same process, on the exact same car, at virtually the exact same time, in the exact same Midwest conditions!
Wish I had moar stars to give
I have a Z32 AND an old (80's) Alfa.
