I wish I’d listened to my wife when she said “are you SURE you want to sign up to rebuild this car?” (when deciding to purchase an Alfa Romeo Milano that had been sitting in a cornfield for 13 years)
It’s very obvious on startup, especially if the car has been sitting a while. A second or so of a loud chain slapping noise.
Patently false. I live in Des Monies, my parents live in Cedar Rapids.
I hate seeing cars like this on Nice Price or Crack Pipe.
I’m not sure what part of the country you live in, but this attitude is extremely prevalent here in the midwest. I’ve been on the receiving end of many snarky remarks about my s2000 and 300zx, both of which are bone stock. It certainly doesn’t help that Marshalltown is all of 25,000 people and there’s maybe three GT40's in the state. In Iowa, specifically, “collector car” is referring to a Mustang, Corvette, or Camaro about 90% of the time. Not sure who this guy thought he was kidding.
Old ones might, my GM era 9-3 had rear drums for ebrake
