Totally missed that! Thanks for the info — it was really bugging me.

Sorry for the delay in reply (I was out of the country and blissfully ignoring email).

Well I'm not arguing at all - that's not my thing. Just chiming in with my opinion. I do like logistics and verisimilitude, and the frequent lapses in these areas is one thing that bugs me about this batshit crazy show.
Purely coincidental! I chose it about a week ago in totally random fashion.
Without a back story, we don't know if there's anything interesting about Angie. I certainly felt that way about Leanne, before her flashback. Regardless, in the present, they both are unpleasant creatures.
"each girl" —> "each woman"
I love their creatively scissored apparel!
Journalists occasionally receive permission to interview prisoners, but it is by no means an easy feat. Prison officials would have no reason to consent to letting these disgruntled ladies talk with the press. The Federal Bureau of Prisons has facilities across the country, and they move inmates around all the time.…
I didn't see it as a heartwarming moment at all. Tucky is behaving obsessively. Coates was freaked out to see her (or at least the gun). She put the gun aside, and they cozied up on the couch, but the gun is very much within reach. He was appeasing her, it seemed to me. Things could go south at any moment.
I figured the "rape" comment meant when Stratman was fingering Leanne in an attempt to save his finger, but it could have been more (as the gruesome twosome speculated on whether he really liked her — yuk). But I'm sort of fixated on "where is he?" The last we see of Stratman was that fingering scene; he was not in…
I don't know that she does deserve imprisonment. The shooting was accidental. It is tragic that a life was lost, but lives are lost daily due to somebody else's action or inaction without there being a finding of murder. In Yoga's case, there was no intent. Plus, whatever time she has already served (a lot, I gather)…
It's never wise to fast forward through any part of this show as important information may be conveyed that you will need later — even if it's only "the bits with Piper and Alex."
Oops - that happens in the next episode.
The other guard still on premises is Stratman, whom we have not seen since he was fingering Angie. Wonder where he is?
Side giggle: When I chose my "Oh Yeah" persona a few weeks ago, I had NO idea that Larry had tattooed that on his ass. What a stupid tat! (Although I don't hate Larry like everybody else seems to.)
If I had to take a guess on her age, I would have said early 50s.
Your suggested plot to explain Piscatella would make more sense, Osofine. In an interview, Brad William Henke said that the script originally called for him to discover that the lover (Driscoll) did not really tattoo Piscatella's initials - when he found Driscoll on the floor, he reached down to touch him and the…
Stray comments:
Why are so many inmates still wearing their name badges?
Why is McCullough still wearing that stupid hairband, which started out as a blindfold? Did y'all notice that her bra/undies combo changed? Originally it was patterned, now it's solid color.
Luschek's boners cracked me up … but now … the gals won't…
Wasn't that an accident, with the gun discharging while they all scrambled for it?
She's only 15 and, who knows, this may be her first acting gig, hired solely for her appearance. I'm giving her a pass.
Maybe the security gate was disabled when the power was cut?
