Delroy was common knowledge, but Cush Jumbo wasn’t til recently. Continues a very worrying trend of the show not being able to retain actors. I suspect they’ll try to get Cush Jumbo to stick around another season to wrap her story properly.

Something viewers of The Good Fight have been thinking for at least 3 seasons now. Its gone to some weird places, really blurring the line between reality & fiction a lot - and then sometimes breaking with the shows own reality it gets so weird.

Stephanie’s family drama in Tim Drake’s Robin run mostly pre-dates Damian’s comic intro so if anything it’d be the other way round with working against the villain parent schtick. I skipped over most of new-52 to bits of Rebirth so haven’t read anything with Bluebird or Duke yet. Read some of King’s early Bat-run but

I mostly agree but i love Arkham City the best - getting to float across the open rooftops makes all the difference & getting to fight in mini-games as Catwoman, Nightwing & Robin each with their own intuitive fighting styles distinct fron eachothers and Batman’s was so liberating. Knight adding Batwoman & HQ as

Having read Tim Drake’s Robin run, I really grew to like Stephanie Brown. Her runs as Robin & Batgirl pre-52 & Convergence felt earnt & her Rebirth run's been interesting.

Lumping both Riverdale & Dynasty in the same boat, both shows have periods of soapy insane goodness and then flat periods in any given season. If I were a CW exec & those 2 shows were on the chopping block & i Could only save 1, I’d choose Riverdale though (femme-fatale sai-death battles beats excessive plastic

Ditto re. Recovery.

Don’t watch CW’s Dynasty then - it puts Batwoman’s face-changing to shame. 2 of the characters have had 3 different actresses EACH (one of the actresses was simultaneously portraying her normal character AND her character’s mother which looked as bonkers as it sounds).

Don't get Tangled up with that villain!

Yeah when you get told it’s a back-breaking work schedule it’s not meant to be literal. If you’re gonna adapt the Knightfall storyline, at least wait til season 2.

I laughed which was the aim of the bit. Dastardly's interactions with his underlings did feel a little like exchanges between Lucius & Dobby though.

This was meant to be released in cinemas originally and they wanted to distunguish it completely from the previous movies (live-action ones) because its a seperate continuity. They cast Lilliard and you then have numb-skulls asking where Freddie Prince, SMG, Seth Green & Cardellini are and why don’t the characters

I loved that spin-off.  Dick & Muttley had the best Wacky Races spin-off.

*Riverdale

I’ve been frustrated by the lack of new Josie & The Pussycats cartoons for years. I love Sebastian. Riversale/Katy Keene is my consolation prize.

I think this reviewer’s overly harsh. Is it Zombie Island or Mystery incorporated deep - no. Is it as funny as Be Cool Scooby Doo at its best- no. Is it a fun movie filled with Hanna Barbara characters that also gives Shaggy an engaging emotional journey but maybe has a couple too many pop songs - yes.

Gina Rodriguez as Velma is actually an inspired choice. Seeing the movie, it allows them to sneak a little ethnic diversity into the Mystery Machine (reflected in both Gina’s inflection of certain words & some slight alterations to Velma’s character design), whilst no changes are made to Velma’s archtype personality

You don’t mess with the Joker, the Hobgoblin, The Trickster, Swamp Thing, Armin Zola & Fire Lord Ozai

At least 2 of those 3 actors had acting talent though. ...

I really enjoyed the Greek series. Ok yes it was a 21st century teen drama but within that genre it was one of the few top tier entries not helmed by Josh Schwartz & Stephanie Savage (the others not by that duo would be One Tree Hill whose penchant for reinvention & obscure musical artists allowed it to flourish with
