Carol’s Second Act had a really rocky start but improved in the back half of the series - it could get a few chuckles out of me each ep normally & had a delicious Grammar cliffhanger. Also: the cast themselvez were thick as thieves following them on social media but sad to read about the HR incident with the

Not to be confused with the other bad sitcom Elliot Gould was in that should have been better: Mulaney.

There’s a lot of old Tom Selleck’s moustache & non-sci-fi Richard Dean Anderson purists out there so understandable.

& don’t worry - my first time watch-through during a 3-week binge session of the complete OG series in 2013 (i remember the year because i then had to wait a whole torturous 9 - 12 months for Girl Meets World to commence - forever compared to viewers of the original airing, I know) I got so wrapped up in the

I did have that moment of, i need to cap this to my personal highlights or this devolves into a list of actors names (else i would've included the bro from My Name is Earl - Randy?) Forgot about Garson (actor was criminally underused in s&tC but was a shining star in white Collar)

That’s straight from the Feeney teaching playbook though - take a big concept like the Civil War & find a way for you to relate it to the student’s lives so they become engaged in the material.

I knew it as the show that launched a thousand careers before i first watched it because in my early uni years when i started looking up actors in my favourite shows every imdb pg would have this show listed from KP’s Ron Stoppable, to Parks & Rec’s Ben Wyatt, to Scooby Doo’s Velma to Psych’s Maggie Lawson to cross-ove

If you can still enjoy Sabrina the Teenage Witch you can still find nostalgic joy in Boy/Girl Meets World.

Partridge Family did it better

I like to think there's an alternate world where that transition occurred.

Girl Meets World splits the diff between the 2 versions of Corey.

The one with the Monkees & Reuben Kincaid feom The Partridge Family will always be a highlight. Also, Ron Stoppavle, i mean Eric, going on a date wuth Sabrina the teenage witch is mindblowing.

In the Girl Meets World series finale you get both.

Having watched the show for the first time from start to finish less than a decade ago, i don’t believe there was anything in the early days to contradict Shawn’s poor upbringing, it was just a shade they filled in on his backstory as they thought to give him a backstory. I thought their slow deepening of that story

Interestingly there was an episode in Girl Meets World where Topanga had an inner-conflict about no longer being that weird kooky girl she started out as, before realising that girl was still there deep in her core but she had so many other memories and experiences in addition to that younger her she cherishes that

The ones with Minkus were the strongest Girl Meets World eps.

He’s probably hallucinating on shrooms that he’s an adventuring duck with a tail, a turtle with ninja skills and a a blue hedgehog that barrels through things quickly.

I think they justify repurposed EMH mark 1's as just being cheaper than the alternatives. & before Voyager’s 7-year tour through the Delta quadrant, holograms weren’t really considered sentient.

Worth warning that unlike Bell's portrayal of Mars, the lead character in In the Dark, whilst interesting, is one of the most aggressively unlikable characters on tv intentionally. You constantly feel for the secondary cast that get used as an emotional doormat.

They look to be huggers.
