“You can’t leave me! I’m pregnant!”
“You can’t leave me! I’m pregnant!”
This really stings. I’ve been rewatching Raising Hope the past few weeks and it’s hard to stand out in such an immensely talented cast, but Leachman as Maw Maw managed to do just that.
My 4 and 2 year old were just introduced to her on the 70s Wonder Woman.
I worked with her for about 5 weeks on the set of a TV movie way back in 1980. She was a sweet, gentle, funny lady and even though I haven’t seen her in 40 years I’ll miss her.
I was thinking literally last night about how sad it is that we lost Valerie Harper and Mary Tyler Moore, and how lucky we were to still have Cloris for the time being. Looks like I spoke too soon. A great talent and an absolute class act. Sad she’s gone, but she lived a long life and accomplished a ton, so I take…
I didn't know she was in so much stuff. She also had some great stories about working with Mel Brooks. She was also really good in Malcolm in the Middle and Raising Hope
Unpopular opinion, but I actually don’t mind retconning some of the history. It’s not the first time and it does open some new avenues for an iteration of the show that might be past it’s prime (13 seasons and a bunch of specials is a LOT). I think the problem is whose hands it is in. I said this elsewhere so sorry if…
I always thought Dale was annoying as fuck. To me he came across as like someone who didn’t want to be a part of the Greek system and kept trying to tell his friend not to join. He came off like the jilted college guy who couldn’t get into a fraternity and was bitter about it so he didn’t want his friend to be a part…
God, his schtick where he explains his odd movements before every trial was so good. I love how the other lawyers just sit their and roll their eyes.
Not at that point - so none of his universe had been set up (Unlike, say, Wonder Woman, which is why the film can dip into her origins and relatives).
So you’re saying it’s humerus that Hulk has no backbone?
can every episode just be all paula pell all the time?
hey the show is still head and shoulders above so much on the Tee Vee machine, the kids are great. and what’s wrong with Jack having a mini-existential crisis or not, Love Ohio/hate Ohio, probably replicated in a few million Ohio households every day.
Why hasn’t Marvel greenlighted a Squirrel Girl series yet? The closest we ever got was a New Warriors pilot that never went anywhere and her appearance on Marvel Rising.
Maisie Williams can never die! She actually was born a Viking princess like 900 years ago
American Housewife was also pretty great about accommodating his stroke, weaving it effortlessly into the storyline they’d already set up to cover his absence when it first happened.
I liked the cast a lot, but the story was a little sleepy.
Anyone else have a soft spot for 2007's TMNT? That was actually the first time I learned about the Turtles, being too young to catch any of the live-action movies.
Meanwhile, the full episodes on YouTube remain region-blocked to poor old Australian me, so this changes absolutely nothing absolutely about my life.
