As a former Michigander, I’m embarrassed that my home state is suddenly becoming Florida.

I saw these guys play with the Melvins years ago here in Jackson Hole.  Me and the other 4 people in the venue had their minds blown.

I never thought I’d say this, but I can’t wait to get back to work. I’m on the front lines in our restaurant group, and I can’t describe how much I miss interacting with the staff and guests.  Oh, and game night.  I’m really excited about the first game night after.  We’re gonna play Pandemic.

Wow, same here!  My parents don’t have much money, especially now that they’re retired, but every year for the last 40 I get a box of chocolate covered cherries.  I usually eat the whole box in a sitting, while tearing up a little bit.

As an Ann Arbor ex-pat who packed up and moved to Wyoming almost 20 years ago, I miss Zingerman’s the most.  I waited tables at Argerio’s just down the street for several years, and relished the time between shifts with a reuben slipped to my by my roommate that worked there.

WHERE CAN I BUY ONE?!?!

My favorite so far was 10 grams of true saffron from Iran. Just a pinch makes for some of the most amazing stock and rice ever. I leave for Wales on Saturday, and plan on visiting the caves of Cheddar. I will damn well be bringing some of the real stuff home to Wyoming.

One of my greatest joys in life and international travel is posting up in my chosen end seat waiting for the aisle to clear, while the two people to my right stand hunched over trying to rush over me into the fray.  Am I petty?  Probably.  Do I enjoy it immensely?  Definitely.
