Oh, I forgot about the time I tried to smog my 1992 Talon. I had a chrome intake pipe with no CARB sticker and I failed the visual. I drove home, took it off, painted it wrinkle black, drove back told the guy I put on the stock pipe, and passed. From that point on, all aftermarket parts were painted black. I smogged…

I have owned more AMC products than all others combined (although Toyota is getting close) and have much love for the SC/Rambler, 1968-70 AMX, and the 1971 through 74 Javelin AMXes. I miss my 1969 AMX 390 Go-Pack every day.
