School bus drivers in my district start at the lowest salary band and make ~$15,000 a year. They’re only part time, with no benefits. They require a CDL with passenger endorsement. This is going to be an absolute mess. The people who are handling the wheelchairs often barely speak english, having them pass a test is going to lead to huge failure rates and actually less service. I’ve done a lot of work with the company that supplies the wheelchairs at ORD and it’s not their fault.

Let’s rebrand EV infra expansion as “Bitcoin mining support” and they’ll build substations everywhere and then subsidize the shit out of it.
