A so-so decal package that only a few people (not me) remember adds exactly zero value. So you’re left with a nicely kitted, well-preserved old truck. That’s nice, but not $19K nice. ND.

Say good Nite, Gracie. This guy is delusional.

It’s not surprising to me he more or less got up to speed, I have long said IMO rally drivers are the GOAT racing drivers. Not a knock against F1 drivers, but driving the speeds that rally driver do on small loose surface roads is nothing short of astonishing.

You can give it any label you want, but at its core, the Flex was a *station wagon*. A Country Squire for the new millennium, if you will.

Enthusiasts know that station wagons are good. The general population thinks otherwise, and thus, the failure of the Flex.

Honestly, I’m not impressed with the new 4th Gen Tacos. It used to be the only pickup I would buy (and I did, 2020 TRD-OR 6MT) but now? There isn’t a single truck on the market I want to buy. They are all too big, too ugly, too expensive, and have too much emphasis on comfort and luxury rather than actually doing

JD Power is a pay to play scam. Trust nothing they say

Your regular reminder that having lots of money does not mean you’re intelligent...especially when you’re going outside your specialty.

It was set up to run without a driver

I the irony of this whole piece is that the Northstar V8 was framed as some kind of cool thing to be appreciated for when in reality, its the reason why most of these were off the road in 10 years or less.

Yeah no Wrangler...but Wagoneer instead?

They insisted on the Northstar engine when the tried and true LT was just sitting there. The Blazer and Saablazer got one, they should have dropped in in the Caddy as well.

Considering how cheap these are now, I wonder how much a CTS-V drivetrain swap would cost. Lower it a couple inches and Bob (Lutz) is your uncle.

To be fair, it was the 80s. I wouldn’t be shocked if some random spectators got to walk over and collect some debris before all the flames went out.

Want to reduce that number? It’s simple — get rid of the NHSTA and/or just stop reporting numbers. That’s how we kept the Covid death toll so low here in FL!

Oh heavens no. Just one look at those dated graphics on the rear-seat screens reminds me of all the outdated tech and pricy repairs this thing will certainly need down the road. Big modified barges like this weren’t real popular back in their heyday; I’d say there’s far less appeal for them now.

They didn’t.

I fear “MotorTrend TV/Network” will not be around much longer. They have cancelled all new content and the constant airing of re runs grows old quickly.

Raise the short-term gains tax. Hold a stock for less than 12 months? The gains are taxed at a rate inversely proportional to how long you hold the stock for.

I have a relative who works in the DOT who says he’s very present and positive, and it’s an entirely different environment than when Elaine Chao (Mitch McConnell’s wife) was there. SAD!
