Really, the Magnum was more of a Chrysler 300 wagon (and indeed was sold as exactly that in other markets) than a wagon counterpart to the Charger. As such, the Magnum shares its doors with the contemporary 300, which has a fairly dramatic slope as you work your way back across the roofline. But rather than having the

Give us a tri-motor ID Buzz, you cowards!

If this had a V-6, it would be on a BHPH lot for $4999. Is the engine worth $10k? No.

Powerful nostalgia here, but this thing looks used up. The miles shouldn’t be an issue, but the years sure have taken their toll. The (mis)alignment of the hood suggests it took a hit to the front, and both bumper caps look out of whack where they meet the wheel arches on the passenger side. Plus all the signs of

Honda quality, so I’d be ready to ignore the fact that it’s not that far from completing a trip to the Moon. But I’m not ready to pushthe non-operational registration” aside—for four years even. So who knows what’s up with this Honda once you have to jump thru those hoops? ND all day.

In my busy coastal vacation town, we make Illegal U turns across 3 lanes to pull up to the local pizza place. Cops don’t care, but you do that in some thickly settled part of town, especially with out of state plates, you’re getting lit up.

Funny what happens when rich people find out that the law occasionally applies to them, too.

Walking against a walk signal would be considered Jay Walking.  People don’t give a fuck though...

25mph = 40km/h. That’s fast enough that when my wife and kids were t-boned by a distracted driver (“just holding onto” their cell phone), the impact crushed the side of her minivan. Our daughter (then 6-years-old) was sitting dead centre in the van. If she had been sitting middle row, passenger side, she would’ve been

The NYPD claims the driver hit Conigliaro as he was jaywalking across a marked crosswalk. The city worker behind the wheel was not arrested, but the investigation is ongoing.

Seems wild that he’s earned the nickname “SAG Harbor Nazi” but the worst examples we’ve seen are a ticket for a u-turn and driving with a cell phone.

Generally no - there are traffic regulations for a reason, and you can’t fault someone who didn’t see a pedestrian where a pedestrian was not supposed to be.  No way to stop a multi-ton vehicle when someone suddenly steps out in front of you, after all.

Why would the driver ever get arrested for hitting someone who was *jaywalking*?

Suspect that in most cities and towns if the police consistently enforced the letter of the law for traffic offenses most folks would be astounded and pissed.

Sounds like the delivery driver is in on the scam, too.

Much like anything else he’s involved in, he only wants to “help” if he can be in charge.

Declining birth rates are, in fact, a normal response to societies exiting poverty. When you no longer need to have multiple kids because some of them won’t make it to adulthood, when you get access to birth control and education and careers, there’s way less pressure to have kids, and to give more to the fewer kids

I like how ethical altruists dont go for the real way to help humanity which is just pay taxes and stop funding scumbags.

I’ve really never understood ANY concern over declining birthrates. Humanity isn’t a company that needs to be more profitable every year to justify its existence. Objectively, what would be a bigger problem is if our population were to outpace the ability of the planet to sustain human life. Which would be the logical

Exactly. Musk’s obsession with having more kids (as long as they’re white and in the west) has three parts:
