High unsprung mass isn’t necessarily a bad thing when you’re targeting a glass-smooth ride. Road shock tends not to be transferred from the steamroller wheels/tires and helps make disruption a distant problem to the passengers as it flattens the road before them.

Actually, with a large wheelbase, wide track and relatively short overhangs (especially at the front) I suspect that it’ll drive great. BMWs have used the same winning footprint for its sporting cars for years.
