Jim Rome is still on air?
Jim Rome is still on air?
The Giants are a fascinating case. The thing is, they didn’t even make the playoffs in the years where they didn’t win it. I believe they were under 500 one of those years too. It’s hard for me to call them a dynasty where they were really only good for 3 years, even if they went all the way those 3 years. To me a…
let us not forget how important hossa was to this squad...
They also have $5.2 mil in cap space available. If the Hawks do find themselves in a position to contend, they will almost certainly fill out the defense with a big name come trade deadline. But it all comes back to Crawford in the end
The thing with Crawford was that he was having his best year ever last year before he got knocked out. If he plays like that, then sure, the Hawks can sneak into the playoffs and then all bets are off. But if he plays like he did up until last season (solid, but not elite), then they still miss the playoffs...
I’m no tennis player, but I would assume if you don’t quite have the angle or timing to smash the ball into open space, aiming directly at your opponent is a pretty good maneuver.
I don’t really follow tennis, but I enjoy these clips because I like to pretend the players are tiny little athletes playing on a normal-sized ping pong table.
dang, you got me. I tweaked it.
+2 Rocky mountain oysters.
That is somehow ten times funnier than I could have imagined. The way he just crumples to the ground. It even looks like the facial expression changes. I want a gif of this, but the sound adds so much to it as well. The dull thud, the guy in the crowd yelling “ooohhhh,” the PA guy drolling on about pancakes being 10…
Bye, son.
I get it. It’s an awesome play and you’re absolutely right the onus should be on a gunners to figure out if a fair catch was called or not.
I mean, I agree it was a fun play but come on man, this is such a dumb take. Your argument is that punt coverage must always assume the returner has not signaled fair catch unless they explicitly see it because on this play in particular, Grant Morgan had a clear view (AND THE RETURNER MADE A HALF ASS SIGNAL!!!) and…
So that it never happens ever again?
The onus is on Morgan to make a play or listen for a whistle
Hot take, but they are right to ban this kind of play. With the targeting rules as they are in the NCAA, players are (as they should be) gun-shy about clobbering a dude just standing there defenseless. Hell, it might even be a personal foul even if it’s a live play -- the refs could just say he had given himself up.
three ace ventura gifs by entirely different people; things are looking up
Holy shit, not only are you right, but I just realized that George Carlin predicted it...
This has to be one of the worst day to be one of Trump’s handlers.
