How is this surprising? He is a recently retired quarterback whose job necessitates constant film study and identifying tendencies.
He knows the playbook, he identifies the defense, and then literally does what he as always been paid to do: make a playcall (just like the QB on the field).

That said, I love having Romo

Ironically, those who witnessed the proposal noted he did not get down on one knee because he apparently did not want to dishonor our lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

Mathematically, without any wind or environmental factors, here is what we are looking at:

The field goal posts are 18.5 feet wide and centered, and the hash marks are 40 feet apart and are each 20 feet from the center of the field.
From where Parkey kicked the ball, he had a roughly 7.5 degree margin of error.

As Sir

It feels like some sort of play on Basher from Ocean’s 11 saying “we’re in Barney... Barney Rubble... Trouble! We’re in Trouble!”

For example: “Jesse Palmer is a d-bag... teabag... same last name... Arnold Palmer!”

It looks like she is hinting at Jess Palmer not citing sources for the boom ba-doom boom, boom ba-doom boom #superfacts

Bye, fellatio

As a former all-conference returner in high school and a D1 bench warmer, this play is garbage, and I can assure you many gunners out there would have crushed him on the next fair catch to prove a point.

sounds like Doolittle does a lot

That’s good statisticking plagiarism.

I see your point on poor execution, but as I indicated above, it does in fact tell users more. It provides ongoing context of the original line of scrimmage in addition to the first down. This way a view can more easily identify a loss of down, or if the quarterback crossed the line of scrimmage while throwing, etc.

UX designer here, came to say the same thing. It not only shows the first down marker, but it provides better context of where the original line of scrimmage began.

If he wants a real roller-coaster ride he should head towards the front entrance of Kings Island and try some skyline...

0-2 count, because you are basically just fighting to stay alive.
3-2 actually reduces the stress of the situation.

What activity/task has the biggest disparity between people who think they’re good at it and people who are actually good at it?

Since this is deadspin, i am leading towards this being a joke... but i just can’t tell anymore
