Man, I miss Toys R Us...

Remember, when they were unable to buy Ubi they bought Blizzard. That should provide enough of an answer.

Sadly the people in charge of this decision care not at all about any commenters on the site.

Game Pass is supremely confident about retention, as mentioned in the article re: their $1 intro price, primarily because of their content pipeline. I’ve not seen any conversation about what the content pipeline will be for this service, but the pricing suggests that Sony is not confident at all. $18/mo or $50/quarter

Implying that Netflix originals aren’t blockbusters in their own right is absurd. Sure, maybe Adam Sandler Netflix Movie #17 isn’t The Avengers, but when they drop shows like Squid Game or Stranger Things or whatever that absolutely dominate popular culture at the moment, those are absolutely blockbusters.

video?  ain’t nobody got time for that

If you’re currently a PS Now subscriber then Sony sends thugs to your house to rough you up for asking too many questions.

I too have mostly enjoyed the Xbox streaming option, though I’ve mostly stuck to games that don’t require fast reaction timing because I can feel the lag pretty often. My biggest fear with a PlayStation equivalent is that Sony doesn’t have the cloud infrastructure (pretty sure Azure is the 2nd biggest cloud computing

PS5 has its store integrated right into the he menu, it’s pretty fluid and intuitive.

Exactly. Right now, they either bake into the review, “Hey, this thing looks primed for exploitative microtransactions, so we’re going to dock it based on that assumption” and potentially show their ass if that doesn’t come to pass (let alone piss off the publisher for something that “isn’t there”), or they amend

Forza is awesome. It celebrates cars rather than worshipping them, like GT series. Constantly rewards the player rather than frustrates. Showers you with bonus cars and more ingame currency than you know what to do with. In other words...Forza gives you all the cars, tracks, customizing,  graphics of GT but actually

Thank good for Forza

I’m a bit saddened more major gaming sites didn’t report on Sony’s complete bullshit regarding the review process for GT7, I get it’s one of the biggest, most beloved exclusive franchises on the Playstation, but it shouldn’t get a pass for blatantly back-handed and shady tactics like this.

Jokes on you, GT7 doesn’t allow you to sell anything.

But Overwatch is in a really bad place right now anyway, given that it’s a game that really hasn’t lent itself well to being a spectator sport to be enjoyed by non-players

Metro Exodus, the raytracing looks phenomenal and the game runs incredibly smooth, that game received a damn fine Series X update.

they didn’t say they were Japanese. They just said they are in Japan.

As progressive as Kotaku and it’s readers have a reputation for, nobody starred the post from an actual Japanese person--an insightful one too. Here ya go, I enjoyed this update.

As some one in Japan.. while the in the past generations Japanese generally preferred Sony and Nintendo’s offering, its beginning to change with this current generation. There’s a perception here that Sony is no longer a Japanese company, with all the games being released in the US first, and the PS5 being more

Take a deep breath. Then think about the single-most popular thing Nintendo has made. Then think about creative writing practices, and how pedantic repetition can get boring to read. Then take another breath. Then maybe a drink.
