Wonderfully Disastrous

Hmmmmm. Not sure what to make of this. All of that expensive work, a new (?) transmission, new wheels, not a ton of miles (we’ve got a 2007 328ix that’s north of 175K right now) and much etc. Yet now he’s got it for sale? I don’t grok that, but hey, life events especially in 2020 are like that . . .

Just voted. Blue gets 58.1%, Red gets 41.9%. I hope tomorrow it keeps that way.

I had a friend who owned a Volvo XC70, who used to bust my chops about my “POS” 2002 Olds Intrigue.

Mine was the dark red on dark red velour...very period correct for GM of the time.

Someone much wiser than me (although that bar is set pretty low) once said “A GM car will run like shit longer than most cars will run at all.”

Everyone had an A-Body back in the day right? Kinda seemed like it. Either that or a K-Car. I had both early in my driving life. I started with the mighty K, but my friends were driving the nicer Olds Cutlass Ciera. Eventually, I found myself driving a Cutlass Ciera down to Florida for spring break while in Uni. Good

NP - This a prime example of a downright practical beater. Talk the seller down to $2k (or less) and ride that sucker into the ground!

There’s purchasing a car, and then there is embracing to aphrodisiac quality of the 3.1 liter modular V6 and faux wood panels.

I voted NP, only because for sentimental reasons. I had a ‘93 Cutlass Ciera and as much as I hated to it then, I miss it now and wish I’d had treated it better. It wasn’t much to look at but it was comfortable, reliable and easy to maintain while offering all the technology the ‘80s had.

It’s what happens when you find a car that fits you perfectly.

If you aren’t already - marry that chick.

You need to keep that car forever. Teach her to drive in it. Give it to her when she goes to college. Brass baby slippers got nothing on this car. You can literally give her the room where it happened. Sure, once she understands she may never sit in that seat again, but a minor disadvantage...

I’m a cowboy...on a wood horse I ride.

If it’s the fucking Changli I will burn this website to the ground

You know, my initial reaction was horror. Much of my life was spent with Cutlass Cieras, which pretty much didn’t change from the early eighties to the late nineties. When I was first introduced to one, as the ‘rents’ “New Car” to replace the E28 they had in Germany, I had nightmares from that suspension and handling.

I dunno, they ride nice. If you remove the original motor, a 350 fits in a little snug, but it fits. They’re plenty of room for headers and dual 2" out the back. Many of them came standard with posi as well. The long and short of it is you can get one cheap and dump a big motor under the hood and no one sees you and

There certainly is a similarity between both Michelin and BK’s principle product.

In that moment, Randall stopped owning a Ford Expedition. He picked up his keys, and began gathering the supplies needed to change his status among Apache Junction’s HOA: This is a case of Keystone, a hacksaw, and years of pent up frustration.
