I think there’s a lot to be said for creating EPIC boss experiences. The final battle against Tartar was great and Pearl’s final sequence and callback to a turf war battle really elevated it for me. Splatoon really mastered the boss experience, and it’s (just a little) disappointing that it focuses on multiplayer…
