I went to a jays-royals game at KC when they renamed the stadium.  The only thing I remember is Alomar trying to steal 2nd and the catchers throw was way off the mark towards the first base side. The ss extreme reach for the ball resulted in him clotheslining Alomar, WWF style. I think it knocked him out of the game. 

Rugby tackling is much “safer” as you do not put your head across the ball carriers body you keep your head to the inside. The opposite of what is coached in football. Teams like the Seahawks and wash huskies have started teaching players to use rugby tackling v the old form tackle method.
