You mean the movie that won Best Film from the most prestigious critics group in the country, and broke Rotten Tomatoes’ record for the most fresh reviews without any rotten ones?

The Globes are tough to categorize. On one hand, they’re total famewhores, and the organization is a complete joke. And they have huge weaknesses for certain types of films (musicals, in particular) that cause them to abandon good judgement altogether.

Between Oldman, Day-Lewis, Hanks and Washington, the only one whose nomination seems suspect is Washington (as his film and performance weren’t particularly acclaimed.)

They did. And now they’re doing a second season continuing the storyline with the same actors playing the same characters.

I still remember how poorly handled that was.

I wasn’t asking for shock factor. I just wish I cared whether they stayed together or they didn’t.

I thought the last few episodes were wonderful. But this one felt very weak, compared to the show’s usual quality.

The backlash to long episodes is because, in the Netflix-era, a lot of shows have gone long for no good reason.

FWIW, the idea of a confidentiality agreement for a sexual non-disclosure agreement wasn’t something that Chappelle’s Show came up with.

Also, is her singing voice really that great? From what we heard, it was okay, but woefully short of Berklee’s standards.

They can’t fully address the transition from slightly chubby to superobese without explaining how Jack died, because her guilt over supposedly causing it seems to be the main reason behind it.

Mandy Moore is great in the flashbacks, but I cannot buy her as a sixty-something in the present day scenes.

Does the fact that there’s a “bandwagon” of accusers mean nothing to you? You actually think it’s plausible that they all came up with a sinister conspiracy to take down...Charlie Rose?

You’re acting like all he did was refer to his female co-workers as “sweetie,” and sometimes assumed that female executives were secretaries, or something like that.
