I think Twitter is bad for humans in general.

Idk, that seems an awful lot like a “corporations are people, too” mindset.

Look, obviously fuck her for being a racist piece of shit. In a lot of ways I’m glad ABC took this action.

Disney does this practically every year: they get greedy(ier) and try to dump one blockbuster too many in the crowded late spring/summer season and it ends up flat at the box office. Remember Tomorrowland? That Alice in Wonderland remake? The last Pirates of the Caribbean movie?

All of these movies have their own

Really? Zack Snyder? The man with the subtlety of an anvil and the nuance of a middle schooler? The one who clearly revels in the idea of fascist strongmen dominating others? HE is the one they want directing an Ayn Rand novel?

I love this series. In fact, I can say that this series and Tom Brehlan’s are what keep me coming to the AVclub after it has gone from a review site to an entertainment blog with occasional reviews and features.

Thanks for writing —I had always dismissed Hitch as a boring by-the-numbers hash, but now I can understand

The weird thing about Say Anything is that the pop culture memory of it has somehow become that the boom box stunt works, when actually it doesn’t and marks the point where Cusack realizes he’s just not going to win this one on the usual romantic comedy blunt force and has to genuinely be better to deserve her.

After you go to the dentist for a dental cleaning, do you complain that they didn’t also fix your knee pain?

‘Your reference to voting third party as “throwing your vote away” makes me sad for a different set of reasons.’

Yes I know. As a former web developer this is one of the first thing I try on any search bar when I’m looking for something.

My point is with the typical content that’s usually promoted by the platform. Sure, you can tweak your search like that but you end up with a 2500 word exclusion list, losing the other search

Can this guy take over the Roseanne coverage next season? I want to see reviews of the show, not of Roseanne Barr’s Twitter account.

It probably is too rigid, but you’ve gotta play the game the way it’s currently set up. And the way it’s currently set up, third party voting makes you part of the problem when fascism is coming to the door.

Alex McLevy for the win!!! I’m so very pleased that he addressed the same issues with Dannette’t reviews and opinions that I have been commenting on the last 9 weeks.

Agreed.. the portrayal of Roseanne on the show is much like people I actually know. I actually appreciate the portrayal as a somewhat accurate one of a type of person that’s almost entirely unrepresented on TV right now.. the same subtleties of character and conflicts in word and deed that some people write off as

I prefer tennis over chess. I refer to the General Election as the Masters. The Semi-Finals were the Primaries, and from that we’ve whittled the tournament down to two players. The third party candidates are playing badminton and demanding space on the same court.

The people who blather the most about Constitutional Rights always seem to know the least about them and definitely can’t tell the difference between private servers and standing on the sidewalk spouting nonsense.

Danette is correct: voting for a third party candidate in a swing state like Michigan is indeed throwing it away. A vote is a chess move, not a valentine, especially in cases like that.

Does Roseanne really need fixing?

They’re not “far” or “alt” right - they’re Fascist-leaning totalitarians.

Conservatives are hypocritical douchebags when they thing that they’ve been “wronged” somehow? I’m shocked..........
