Nothing infuriates you more than minimum wage retail workers who can’t read your mind?

If you want the items to get bagged in a certain fashion, then you need to communicate it clearly to the person who’s doing the bagging. When I worked at the checkout stand, we were taught to use a method that didn’t have anything to do with the order in which the customer had placed the items on the conveyor belt.

I still group my items on the conveyer belt. At the very least, grouping cold items together will help to prevent one refrigerated item ending up in a bag with something else. As a former bagger and cashier, I always always grouped like with like. I know that not everyone will do that, but if they’re experienced, they

Do you have to be a pro driver to buy a $250k car? Do you need to be a pro golfer to spend $2k+ on clubs? Do you need to be a pro fisherman to spend $100k+ on a boat and fishing gear?

As a former bike shop owner, please do not do this!

haha. There are no pro riders on $2000 bikes.

The tragedy of the commons.

That’s straight-up stealing, there’s no cleverness here, they are simply turning a promotion into a cheat. If you and your friends can’t fill yourself up on pizza with this deal, stealing more just makes you look like an asshole. You could have been full all day without the grift, but instead you chose to be “clever”

It’s a Simpsons reference.

You are also cooking fries wrong. Seriously, try the submersion in water to leach the starch, maybe if you wanna get crazy freeze them, and then fry. You WILL notice a big difference.

No. Just no. Potatoes should be sliced into fries and then submerged for 2-4 hours to leech some of the natural starch out. Punch and fry french fries are gummy and unpleasant from all the starch. Freezing them also improves them, as the ice crystals break the starch up. In-N-Out is doing fries wrong.

lol, bad take is bad.

No one is disputing the ingredients, but they are cooked wrong.

So, food scientists have figure out how to make the perfect french fry, but you would prefer to eat garbage fries just because you don’t want “chemicals” on them? I remember a friend bashing Costco rotisserie chickens because they are injected with potato starch to make them plump and juicy. My reply to her was, “Have

Five Guys are the way fresh fast food fries should be done.

One of the best fries in the biz is also freshly cut and never frozen - 5 guys.  Nothing WRONG with frozen but also that’s not In-N-Out’s only problem.

fresh fries can and regularly do taste better than In-N-Out. I don’t think anybody is CrAzY for liking them, it’s a matter of taste, but I can tell you that they fall short of a good fresh cut fry.

They must be salted (ideally right when they come out of the fryer)

/r/nofap has been a thing for many years, at least circa 2013. Why write about it now?

Training light weights to failure is mentally degrading.
