I've always heard that title translated as "Remembrance of Things Past".

Lol anyone who uses the term “npc” thinks they’re special but, in reality, is a nobody. You’re not the “main character”, you’re a fucking loser clinging to some semblance of importance bestowed by 4chan boards and incel forums.
Honestly you probably aren’t saving money making your own, hard to beat their $1.50 including a soda.
but if you want to make the costco hotdogs, you’ll need their sausages. which requires a membership ahah
Universities are not McDonalds; it’s not like they’re all the same so you just go to the closest one. He obviously chose the school with the program that suited him, then his rent went up significantly. He’s in his final year, and it’s perfectly understandable that he wants to finish at UBC.
It sounds like he is doing some online, but has in-person obligations for at least 2 a week. I graduated college in the 90's in a traditional 4 years. Today I sit through numerous online presentations and continuing education as an engineer...and have concluded that in-person stuff is about 1,000X more satisfying, and…
And he’s saving on food (I’m sure his parents are feeding him out of pocket), bedding and furniture needs, clothes/dishes washing, all utilities. He’s not paying renter’s insurance nor losing his rental’s damage fee. The savings go well beyond just straight up rent costs.
“Hell, I’m not even very smart...”
Don’t lie to us, I have it on good authority that nobody wants to work anymore!
Seems like the old “lets beat down and overwork our already beaten down underpaid employees. Underpaying and overworking people who are the front line of food safety is not a good idea.
I think Subway is missing the point, it's not about slicing the meat in the store, it's about slicing it right when a sub is ordered. If you pre slice it you run into the same issue with more of the meats surface area being exposed to air.
No it’s really more like the quality of the meat was fine before, slicing it in the store wasn’t going to magically make it even better.
I know Jersey Mike’s, I served with Jersey Mike’s, and you Sir, are no Jersey Mike’s.
I work at shoprite, don’t make much more than minimum wage - and I can tell you at least in my store, on my shift those slicers are cleaned so well I’d happily serve my own grandmother anything off them. Not all of us are lazy and incompetent - in fact most of the people I work with bust their rears every shift.
Location has nothing to do with it, tow truck drivers are always strapped. Just the nature of the business.
Personal responsibility and accountability has very, very little to do with addiction, and it’s past the time that we stop pushing this idea around.
And ultimately this goes back to personal responsibility, which is at the heart of any addiction.
at least three of the games mentioned are meant for an age group above that of the child. So you can cross those off the list of “marketed to children”.
Well, I just mean it in the sense that you’re not necessarily doing your body any favors if you learn to hold your breath for 10 minutes, but if you do so, there’s a lot less panic going on in your head when you hit minute three, even though most people would have long since given up by then. I didn’t set out to learn…
I was thinking Ties.
