KBB data doesn’t correlate with the market for specialty cars like the Z/28 first off. Bring A Trailer is a much better reference. Z/28s are bringing more than what you listed. And have you driven on? They’re incredible. It’s like a big, happy and blistering fast Miata.

What justifies it as a bad street car? Double wish-bone suspension front & rear? It’s F22 engine with the highest output per liter in a normally aspirated motor until the Ferrari 458? Only room for 1 golf bag? 2 bags without a passenger? 0-60 in 5.5 seconds to seconds is probably too slow for the internet.....hmm....a

It’s one of the most exciting driving experiences out there. To drive one of these cars at the absolute limit is a beautiful thing. They are sweet, but they bite.

CPO Focus or Fiesta ST? I put over 80k on my Focus ST, sold it to a friend and it’s now pushing 95k miles. Never had any issues and the car was regularly tracked and had a stage 1 cobb tune. Was a fantastic car!

Fiat has half the power...320hp is right in line with the Porsche Boxster, which I image is what they’re aiming for - not the Fiat 124 or Miata for that matter....Let’s call it 4.5 seconds to 60, 1 lateral G, 3000lbs, that’s Boxster territory.

$50k roadster w/ 320hp turbocharged 4, sounds like it’ll be aimed right at the outgoing Porsche Boxster.

Similar to the Ford GT! Assuming ‘Track’ mode

Looks like the Mustang is going digital with it’s dash! Like the Ford GT.

I’ve had two RSX Type S’s over the years. Fantastic little car for what it is. They drive great and it has one of the best interior layouts and designs for a small coupe. Would be the perfect affordable reliable daily that could be a weekend warrior at the track! Plenty of room for an extra set of track wheels/tires

Might have stalled the blades

He could have stalled the blades. Didn’t have enough forward momentum or altitude to autorotate

Was talking to my Dad and one of his best friends about this last night. We’re all pilots, but they have their helicopter rating. Dad has over 1000 hrs and Eric has over 5000. Here was each of their responses:

You can even say that you can’t use all the ST’s power ‘most’ of the time. Everything you’re saying the answer is MIATA

It doesn’t void the warranty. I’d assume their be a section in back of the manual that says “warranty voided if used at the track or for competition use” - but I’d think that Ford will take care of you if something goes wrong with this car since it’s a halo car

Now playing

Then why not just buy an ST? You can still do most of the thing that a RS can do....like drifting

Now playing

Can’t wait to see how the RS compares to the ST in controlled skids!

Ordered. Blue RS2

I’ve spent a reasonable amount of time in my dads 96' Collectors Edition C4, which is basically a toned down Grand Sport and sure it’s just like driving a ZR1. Here’s what I can say about it, it is THE most unpredictable, awesome, I hate it, but love it car I’ve ever driven. My dad loves this thing, and I can see why.
