I hear ya. It’s hard to describe just how good Volvo ‘performance’ oriented seats are, had a S60R a few years back. Damn good seats
Woohoo!! Fresh set of Michelin’s!!
The only reason to get a Focus ST now is that the Fiesta ST is too small and you just refuse to buy a GTI or WRX for some weird sadistic reason.
Those wheels are on the current Fusion, look good though!
The Focus ST and Fiesta ST have been a world wide success....They wouldn't build the RS unless the FoST was successful....
The Focus ST is by most accounts an excellent hot hatch, but numerous owners commented that they have a tendency to cook their brakes on track. The brake actuated torque vectoring that's great on the road probably isn't doing anyone any favors on the track.
In regards to the Focus ST, just like any other car throw a set of track pads on the front and it does just fine at the track...
Considering it's a brand new engine and my car was one of the first 1000 made, it's really not too bad. Don't think I'm setting the bar low lat all for reliability quite frankly. The car has been flawless except for that one instance. In comparison to your 02 WRX, which btw is a great car, the ST is a much more…
37K+ miles on my Focus ST....that includes 2 trips halfway across the US, track days, autocross's and everyday use. Only had one major issue and that was at 35k miles, the high pressure fuel pump gave out, fixed within a day under warranty. Ford SYNC with the new update is flawless. The report is flawed by the Ford…
The name is awful. It looks awful. The wheels are terrible. I'm assuming it's going to be way to expensive....Raptor still the halo pickup truck
Both are great cars. I bought a Focus ST when they first came out. I adore mine. If I were buying a car now it would be a toss up between the two. But I would bet the Focus is a more refined daily driver, just judging by past WRX's. Granted that could be completely different with the new model because the…
Haters gonna hate, but the ST interior isn't that bad. I admit it's not GTI pretty, but it's functional.
I agree, you do get to that certain point where you can ask too much of the front tires in a FWD car. I've got an ST and being stock without a LSD it can still struggle to put down power in tighter corners. The sweet spot for a ST would be right around the 300hp mark.
I own a ST and have driven both cars on backroads and at autocross's. The ST is just more fun in my opinion. Yes, like many others I prefer RWD, but there is no torque to speak of in the FRS/BRZ. It's fun to rev a car out on a backroad, but not when it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere and doesn't even sound…
Not entirely. A ST with the Cobb Tuning intake & accessport you're looking at over 300hp. Add in a Quaife limited slip diff up front and KW coil over kit.....you've got yourself a hell of a little car...Focus RS500 territory
You couldn't have said it better. I completely agree.
Yes the GT3 has caused quite a stir about being built without a 3 pedals. In some sense yes because that has been the recipe for the ones of the past. But if you think of a GT3 as a car that is suppose to deliver the closest experience to the racing version it's derived from then it shouldn't.
I think it's awesome that Apple is finally making a infotainment system. My Focus ST has Ford SYNC and lets just say when it has a good day it's decent...but 63% of the time it isn't up for the task it's given. We all know Ford SYNC is a terrible, terrible thing to behold. I constantly find myself using my iPhone…
That's wet dream material. Looks fantastic.
