Remember when people reworked Fiat roadsters into sorta Stutz Bearcat limos with side pipes and whitewalls on 16" wire wheels.?

I Really wanted to steal the diesel 5 speed manual Kuga I rented for a vacay in Italy- qick, quiet, tiny, useful, and comfy... So at least one smaller than an Escape.

On the other hand, they coulda sorta copied sumthin’ ugly...

Too much Taurus. not enough Audi? and why not a Chinese name?

Or they could just sell us this with a new name... Euro Caddy Kombi

I really do love this, being an older dude. Extend this approach to everything- hard drive power supplies, vcrs, cameras, etc. -these days it is all designed to be assembled by unskilled labor from very precise bits...all easily found on ebay ...

and no computer. I ended up junking a Saab 9000 that was a fine, fast, comfy ride when the computers and alarm systems lost their mind... With a distributor and a carb i could have fixed it and would still be riding.

I once had a Chicago-SFO flight that had a stop in Oakland...

Best SOUNDING motor-in-you-face boat.

OR, There's this....

This scared the shit out of me for several years... tension, unresolved, Hitchcock at his best - even if it was not....

MORE POWER! The Red Giant VB 950 has a single Caterpillar C18 diesel engine pushing out 710PS (700hp) and…440,000Nm (324,483 lb-ft) of peak torque, and if that doesn't impress you, how about the Red Giant VB 1500 that has two C18 diesel mills delivering 1,500PS (1.479hp) and - wait for it- 1 million Nm or 737,463

Cool. At least now we know where rebar comes from....

The other big use for Harbor Freight drills, grinders, cutoffs, etc is gross cement, gunite, rebar, and formwork down in a wet hole full of grit and sand. It's cheaper to just burn up and replace some tools than to try and keep the muck outa your Bosch tools. ( My Dad would have a fit - but the economics work

Um. I'm no rules guy, but isn't this a way to get a big motor and a slick fastback into NASCAR...?

Are these aftermarket contact patches?

Ass-hat wheels.

This isn't for Jalopniks. This is for the CEO/philanthropist who has it made, knows it, and doesn't need the car to say anything - just be perfect/fast/powerful/solid/relilable and quiet.

Call me susppicious. Ain't this just to get a mid-size rear-wheel drive body in here for NASCAR?
