I Really wanted to steal the diesel 5 speed manual Kuga I rented for a vacay in Italy- qick, quiet, tiny, useful, and comfy... So at least one smaller than an Escape.
On the other hand, they coulda sorta copied sumthin’ ugly...
Too much Taurus. not enough Audi? and why not a Chinese name?
Or they could just sell us this with a new name... Euro Caddy Kombi
I really do love this, being an older dude. Extend this approach to everything- hard drive power supplies, vcrs, cameras, etc. -these days it is all designed to be assembled by unskilled labor from very precise bits...all easily found on ebay ...
and no computer. I ended up junking a Saab 9000 that was a fine, fast, comfy ride when the computers and alarm systems lost their mind... With a distributor and a carb i could have fixed it and would still be riding.

Um. I'm no rules guy, but isn't this a way to get a big motor and a slick fastback into NASCAR...?
Are these aftermarket contact patches?
Ass-hat wheels.
This isn't for Jalopniks. This is for the CEO/philanthropist who has it made, knows it, and doesn't need the car to say anything - just be perfect/fast/powerful/solid/relilable and quiet.
Call me susppicious. Ain't this just to get a mid-size rear-wheel drive body in here for NASCAR?
