Which Russian comedians? Any names that you would recommend?

It’s great to see the SX4 get some attention on Jalopnik. Such an underrated car, well done Tom!

- 5 or 6 speed manual, selectable lockable AWD
- little to no extra driver aids/touchscreens/fancy garbage
- good fuel economy (25+ mpg mixed), small gas tank unfortunately
- excellent visibility, big windows, short wheelbase

That David Tracy article on Victor Ma, Hong Kong King of Off-Roaders was one of the most interesting articles I’ve read anywhere! The esoteric import scene, different car meets and vintage racing events were pretty awesome too.

Right? Many long-roofs have privacy trays and false floors to compensate but I’ll always appreciate a good top box.

Fun fact: my car has a blinking red light in the middle of the dash from the factory. No actual alarm. Sneaky.

Thief deterrents: empty car, transmit manually, park in high visibility areas, drive often, use uninteresting rims or wheel locks
