Then be glad! You can easily check speed ratings of tires. They’re molded into the sidewall.

Optimism aside, the terrifying thing is that Goodyear simply raised the tires’ speed rating from 65 to 75 mph with the newer speed limits. Up until that point, it seemed like mostly user error.
