Tires make a BIG difference! AWD, a short wheelbase and a little extra clearance are nice too.

Quick and dirty chart in Google Sheets of lease payments (based off the 2017, 2018, 2022 numbers shown). Upper chart is rolling total for 60 months and lower chart is each payment in a month.

Did you own one or just sell Mazdas? Big fan of that generation of Mazda6 wagon. Tell me more.

How long have you had the 6? 6 speed, AWD, FWD? Tell me it’s as good as I want to think it is. And I want to think that this is one of my favourite “normal” cars.

Fantastic. Viper + boring mentioned in the same comment from a previous owner. Can’t help but smile. Also can’t wait to hear more about that Evora! Easily a shortlisted realistic dream car.

4 year old slushbox Camry with plenty of ALL CAPS IN THE AD and more information about the stealership than the car. $19K CAD. Would you agree?

When I first saw how long the video was going to be my knee-jerk reaction was “Ken Block Climb Dance”. Who wouldn’t want to see a full hill climb with the RTR V2?

Add “needs a rebuild every 100,000 kms / 60,000 miles”, which is somewhat true, and I still agree. On paper, rotary motorcycles are a great setup.

This is good Jalopnik. Thank you for uncovering the truth behind fake grilles. What’s next, fake exhaust reveals? Honest door and window lines? Golden. Does anyone else think that the “tough love” Genesis G80 looks better than the original?

That’s frustrating, especially for a 3 yr old car.

Dodge Journey car sauna for 20min with 6 dudes while driving in summertime. I locked out the windows, set front and rear to max heat and wiped the windscreen with a towel in order to see.

Agreed 100% and I’m 27. Anything touchscreen and onward in a car almost always ages poorly and can hardly compete with the latest budget smartphones anyway.

It is surprising how well you can hear someone else’s in-car Bluetooth conversation; even from your own vehicle with all the windows up and quiet music playing.

What you’re saying is that Mazda has made a supercharged, high compression engine that sips pump gas economically?

They definitely can be. For a breath of fresh air, try looking up George Karellas “Soup” series.

Painful. Dark side of car culture and youtube.

That is an excellent choice, wow! The Subaru has serious granola factor for all your Pacific Northwest needs although 500 hp is hard to disagree with. I didn’t mean to steal your name! Childhood nickname.

What would you think about recommending to keep the Leaf and instead buy a second vehicle that fits Seattle weather/culture and meets all the same vehicle requirements?

Great question. The most desperate fix I ever performed was reconnecting injector wires a rat chewed through on my way to the doctor’s office.

Gone but not forgotten! My 2011 (AWD, 6MT, white) is still going strong. Here it is, full of pruned branches because that’s one of the many things you can do with it. Also, there it is again with a couch on top.
