The lower end Subaru engines can’t take a power bump.  For example, the 2.0L in the Crosstrek is not the same as the 2.0L in the WRX.  The internals are different and can’t take the strain.  Nor is the transmission up to a power bump.  But a Crosstrek with a WRX or STI powertrain would be pretty nice.

The tune on my WRX got me nearly 100 HP and better mpg on the highway than stock.  City mpg was admittedly worse by 1-2 mpg but in town was never good on a WRX anyway.

This is why god invented ski masks, gloves, and baseball bats.  A good old-fashioned beat down can often to wonders to adjust attitudes.

The media plays a very large role in this. They induced the panic and reinforce it every day. Some sites like USA Today continue to do so by running “where you can still find x” articles which further reinforces the fear.

Stop it.  They would lose to the men badly.  There really is a physical difference between male and female athletes.  But they don’t compete against each other and the USWNT really deserves to get paid more than the men’s team because the men’s team can’t even win qualifiers for the world cup most years.

As I understand it, the USWNT operates under a CBA. I’ve worked under a CBA in the past and we always had a clause where if we got pissed off enough we could vote and walk away from the CBA. Read more
