I didn’t get along with III. It lost a lot of the scale and depth that II had, and I found the setting limiting. Still a fun game, but I’m glad it’s AoE II that got the HD treatment.

I figured out who the masked figure was early on in the episode, well before the big reveal. The way he talked about Gortys, the way he hid his identity and the timbre of his voice all kinda reconciled themselves at once in my brain.
