Fascinating. Really impressed with the things Playstation has shown us this year. I might even have to buy one.

I didn’t get along with III. It lost a lot of the scale and depth that II had, and I found the setting limiting. Still a fun game, but I’m glad it’s AoE II that got the HD treatment.

So will it launch on Friday, or November the 5th?

The whole Flanker lineage is gorgeous. When I think jet fighters, I think of that shape. Interesting to see their physical measurements compared to the Typhoons.

Looks really cool — and ambitious. I seriously hope they can pull it off.

I love Return of the Jedi, but Burneko is right on so many counts. The ewoks? Obviously bleugh. They’re far too twee and they completely topple the crescendo of drama that’s going on above their heads in space. That Jabba sequence? Yes, cool. But Yes, far too long and tangential to the plot. It’s basically forty

I figured out who the masked figure was early on in the episode, well before the big reveal. The way he talked about Gortys, the way he hid his identity and the timbre of his voice all kinda reconciled themselves at once in my brain.

There is no point in owning a console anymore. What we’re being offered are PCs with proprietary hardware and software and most of the functionality missing.

I enjoy BE for its unique things. The technology web is a big improvement over Civ V’s very static tree, and the affinity and virtue systems work well. I don’t even have a problem with its leaders — the Civ V ones only seem to have more personality because we know their names and faces (Vadim Kozlov as

Before I click play... is this any worse than Napoleon McCallum’s 1994 knee injury?

Awesome, BCO live!

As good explanations as any for the bewildering way Konami’s been treating its development staff this past year. The only reason they’d strike Kojima from all their marketing and nuke Silent Hill post-P.T. is that they thought they could earn even more money by screwing over as many people as legally feasible.

Sorry, I’m not familiar with the specifics of how MGO works, but doesn’t this break the game? Those who pay get a clear competitive advantage over those who don’t pay. So what’s the point of playing at all?

Stephen A. Smith, just like his opposite number Skip Bayless, is nothing more than a blowhard that nobody looking for real insights about football should bother listening to.

Agreed. They should have capitalised on all they learned from the PSP (which I loved) and committed to developing franchises that would play to the Vita’s strengths. I can’t fathom why they didn’t at least try to save it, or recognise what wasn’t working sooner. Memory stick Duo on the PSP was one thing, when a good

Meh, Brady’s lucky he found anywhere to put that on a sports field. Better than just putting a thumb on one nostril and blowing a nasal load onto the gridiron.

Overlord was better IMHO. Liara overstayed her welcome in LotSB.

Good decisions aren’t exactly something he’s familiar with.

The tragedy isn’t that they passed for 782 yards and lost, it’s that nobody in two high schools knows how to defend.
