This is great by any measurement, but the question is too subjective. What makes good boss music? Does it have to hype you up for what you’re doing, while fitting with the aesthetic of the game? Does it have to be virtuosic, up-tempo and orchestrated? Depends on the game, depends on the track, depends on the player.…

This is not “good, passionate, heated football”. This is disgraceful.

I heard pretty muted impressions of it. Seems like it was another large sandbox area with a lot of side quests but not a lot of character or story content — exacerbating the main game’s biggest problem, basically. This trailer looks pretty cool though. Hopefully its focus is a bit tighter.

It’s the concept that’s interesting. Like Twitch Plays Pokemon. It takes a game whose mechanics are very familiar to a lot of players, and does something entirely new with it. I’d be surprised if they were working on a XII remake, given everything else they’re working on, but I would welcome it, especially if it came with the international version extras. Maybe they could do something to reduce the all the grinding while they’re at it.

It’s like they realised we were getting sick of Star Wars’ dichotomous Jedi morality even before we did.

This makes me very happy. Despite it’s numerous crippling flaws, KotOR II is a tremendous game with perhaps the most thought-provoking story in the Star Wars universe. Can’t wait to play it with a properly installed RCM and no black sidebars down the screen.

I’m amazed Bravely Default was taken down from this list. I still considered that required reading for 3DS owners or anyone remotely fond of RPGs.

I think to be a crazy cat person you need to have at least four cats and they need to dominate your daily life to a point at which it affects your relationships with others. Your friend’s coworker is a fool and his opinion is not worth troubling yourself over, IMHO.
