I think we should take a moment to applaud Rebecca Ford’s classy response to this incident.

More proof that Bethesda is still in Microsoft’s pocket. Who would get Fallout 4 on PS4 at this point, given a choice?

Feigning ignorance of the PC issues was a bad move by WB, because it would take some weapons-grade stupididty to not realise your game doesn’t work properly on all but the most luxurious PCs. Can’t believe we have to feel happy about someone being honest, but that’s what the AAA game industry is these days.

Just want to thank BioWare for the profound effect Mass Effect and Dragon Age have had in my life, and how well they’ve pioneered the validation of same-sex relationships—and their portrayal—in the gaming industry. Take a bow, guys.

By the moon’s cratered backside, the Americans actually did it! :D

I didn’t think anyone would remotely pay attention to that comment. Then I log on three days later with 5 notifications about it and my reaction is, “Huh”.

I’m getting sick of the Nope meme.

Something about my computer doesn’t like this game; it never loads properly.

We need to hear more from Io Interactive on how strictly they’ll be enforcing laundry hamper corpse capacity regulations.

So you can play in ones and threes, but not twos? Well that’s silly, Nintendo.

They could have made inappropriate jokes about terminal cancer patients at that point and still walked away with net goodwill; Sony’s show was incredible.

That’s something Final Fantasy hasn’t matched in its fully-voiced era. 13 was so dumb; to get their summons/power up/whatever they basically had to go on an arbitrary self-pity trip. FF X and XII had lighter moments and did them well, but couldn’t approach the characterisations of Barret and Cid, Zell and Irvine, or

I imagine people were hoping for new Zelda. No, THE new Zelda. The one we saw last year. And maybe this new console they’ve teased. It feels like Nintendo has been distancing itself from E3 a bit lately so maybe the real news will be at future Nintendo Direct events.

I thought Sony’s presentation was amazing. Loads of gorgeous, unique, innovative new IPs headlined the show and made the PS4 look more essential than ever. Firewatch, Last Guardian, Dreams, Horizon: Zero Dawn and No Man’s Sky were real winners that felt earnestly presented.

I think the point Mr. Plunkett was making is that in this generation consoles have become more and more like PCs in terms of gaming experience, and adding in-built early access is the wrong way to handle this trend.

What will happen now is that third-party companies will launch cheaper and equally well-engineered alternatives that work on PC.

This is going to turn out to be another horrible practical joke, isn’t it?

You should be. Dishonored was a fantastic game you shouldn’t miss out on.

Wait, what? People loved Modern Warfare 2. The hipsters will always say the opposite of course but it has obvious credentials and cemented Call of Duty’s modern day franchise as the world-swallower it is now. I don’t think anyone can deny that. It was Black Ops that made us realise the series’ flair for the dramatic

I really wish my aging computer was up to handling this game :(
