People have been warning us via GT when to stay off the main page, which is great but I miss reading you guys on those days. I hope The Powers That Be wise up and fix this issue soon. The IP address thing is sort of bonkers. They need to be able to definitively ban trolls—particularly with some of the doxxing

You spelled "its" wrong. Twice.

I used to have the same issue with Gawker sites as a whole but I've since grown to appreciate the authors' wading through the cesspit that is Reddit so I don't have to.

I couldn't even make it through the video. Had I been on that subway car I would have thrown myself at the mercy of the tunnels.

That's helpful! Thanks. :)

AAAHHHH I was wondering what your Kinja name was!!

There is absolutely no comparison between the relative amounts of societal pressure on men and women—women have it worse, hands down. And we have been talking about how it sucks for ages and now suddenly because a guy has an issue with it, it becomes legitimized. Nope, can't bring myself to give any fucks about this

Thanks for the valuable male insight on women's leg hair. Changed my whole worldview.

I wasn't challenging you either! Was just responding.

I've had laser so I know all this. ...And I don't really have a soft spot for much, but this is certainly not on that list! ;)

This intrigues me—that works???

I don't want a "moment of solidarity" with someone who claims that lasering is for people who are "desperate" and "masochistic." Nope.

I don't even dislike guys with back hair, dude—I don't fucking care about their back hair! I just don't want them to whine at me about societal pressure to remove it when I'm busy removing hair from LITERALLY EVERYWHERE ELSE ON MY BODY.

I'm not really looking for a solution to this problem, though. I am busy looking for a solution to my comparatively low wages, lack of bodily autonomy and societal pressure to look like a 5'9" 105 lb. Brazilian supermodel. Sorry not sorry.

Yeah just do your homework with Yelp for whatever place you choose.

That's fine, I just can't bring myself to cry for him is all. We go through the same thing every day and have been for a long time.

You have to look for yearly coupons. You can get a year free of 4-6 areas for something like $300 if you surf the coupons for a couple months.

You're talking to the wrong lady—I've done laser treatments.

Yeah but I am assuming blonde body hair isn't the main issue here—coarse, dark hair is, no? Also I am reacting to the "affluence [and] desperation" bit too. It's like this guy didn't even research, he just decided to preemptively whine about it.
