Good God, no. That would rattle all her poor vertebrae into dust.

Counterpoint: No. They do, in fact, look cool. In almost all applications.

I get 23-24 mpg easily on the highway.

Matt, first of all, I like the cut of your jib. I like your whole collection and sorry about the loss of the V. I debated between a V-wagon and Chevy SS before I ultimately ended up with the SS. And while the SS would be a cool choice for you, I feel like option #3 is your path to happiness.

Very quality suggestion. Approve.

“Hey! You also have a DUI!”

I question your reasoning skills.

Tom.... did you even read her request?

If it’s any consolation, you’ve been the best of the replacements so far...

You may have said this in jest, but in all seriousness, I think that Dale could really turn things around. I think he could develop a great vision for Nascar, has the right contacts (and the right name), and has a solid business sense to keep it afloat.

Emissions testing is not required in all parts of VA. Also safety inspections ARE required in ALL parts of VA, prior to registration.

You are really hurting my feelings with this... I couldn’t possibly disagree more and I think I’m going to have to question all your future columns/advice/recommendations because of this very wrong and sad take. Sorry, Tom.

Those interiors are actually the BEST part about that era of cars, sorry to disagree.

Tahoe and Suburban both sell plenty at > $50k. GM doesn’t have any problem selling ZL1 Camaros over $50k either. (SS is technically $45-47 so now you’re talking about a difference of only $5-7k)

Why?

You’re probably right. So to that point (along with what Alex of the Mountains also mentioned), it would behoove manufacturers to at least provide mid-range models to rental agencies. My wife was in the market for a small CUV or hatch after the RAV was rear-ended, but we stayed well away from the Soul because of her

Yea all these comments are completely opposite of the feedback my wife gave me after having to rent one for a while. She said it was dangerously under-powered, and that was driving in completely flat Indiana...

This is interesting, as are the many other comments commending it’s ability to handle passing, twisties, and have adequate power. My wife traveled for work for a bit and rented one in Indiana. She despised it, complained the entire time she had to drive it. She claimed it to be the weakest, flimsiest, turd she’d ever

It’s a good review and a cool car. I love that Kia built it and I think the price point is very fair. But that’s where I see a double standard. This whole website balked at the price of the Chevrolet SS and yet this one is a good price? They seem comparably equipped with similar performance, both from “cheap”

Cummins is a pretty cool internship. I started full time in 2012 and know plenty of folks that interned prior to that as well. Unfortunately, it sounds like you went to the wrong Virginia engineering university. (Sorry, couldn’t resist).
