I can’t speak for profit margin other than to say engineering has no control over this. While I’m sure they could afford slightly less, these margins are required to keep business moving and invest in future development. The engineers you’ve targeted don’t have control over this, they’re working within marketing’s

This cracks me up too. It seems like so much went into this car, the fanboys are obsessed, the price is outrageous... and yet, a Camaro that these guys all turn their noses up to, can outrun it. Not only that, but the Camaro will also be more tolerable on everyday roads.

How would you suggest making a large, comfortable cruiser any lighter without using considerably more expensive materials and still retaining all of the equipment and technology this package provides? Honest question, since your engineering prowess exceeds that of Polaris.

Very true, good points. As stated, any power train failures will likely not be covered as the modifications will be implicated as the cause. I suppose part of bumper to bumper warranty would still cover interior/exterior parts and safety equipment.

Thank you, it’s not an unreasonable question to wonder if a brand new car will be covered by any sort of warranty. Purchasing a car and modifying it on your own is one thing, if you’re comfortable with the consequences and can afford to cover parts when it breaks. I suspect, however, that most people trying to buy new

good for you.

Did you not read my question? I understood it wasn’t covered by Ford, my question was weather the dealer would warranty their work.

Since factory warranty will presumably be voided with this work, does the dealer offer any warranty of its own?

Convert this to the Eurosport nose above and you have an even better looking and more unique wagon!

Methinks that’s quite a bit of car for the money, and looks decent too. NP.

Ain’t that the truth. But this car was supposedly taken from the assembly line, direct to Berlin? Of course, who knows who’s been responsible for washing it...

I hope you’re right and I’m wrong.

Idk if it’s just the picture, but the clear coat looks pretty rough here. Swirls/marring/ on a brand new $350,000 ride? I wouldn’t be a happy customer...

Chevy SS sold as much as GM expected it too. It was never intended as mass market and even sold better than expected, considering there was near zero marketing for it.

But you’re also paying more (Camry/Accord) for a smaller car. The Impala is a full size sedan and I would argue that the reliability will be comparable.

Man, I can’t believe I missed this... I’m going to post anyway.

After living in South Carolina for the past 5 years, I have to admit, I agree. Being from VA, I hated inspections.. paying for them and risking the violation if I was a single day late. I was excited to move to SC where I was free to modify as desired with no stupid required sticker on my windshield and associated

My Ex’s Turd-cel. I really hated that thing. It didn’t help that it was a disgusting mess inside with mysterious stains from being handed down by her two older siblings...

Rolling back EPA requirements, while detrimental for many reasons, doesn’t mean that US manufacturers won’t have to compete with the import market. The automotive market is considerably more global now than it was in the “Malaise” era and thus competition does not exclusively depend on US regulations. I agree that

I agree with your overall assessment of this car’s value, but I would be curious to know where you can get an LS2 + T56 for $3k, because I would buy them in a heartbeat.
