That’s just the transmission though, I think the $3k driveline estimate also included the engine since it wasn’t listed separately. You cannot buy this complete driveline (engine and trans) for $3k.

As an American enthusiast, I can promise that I never once dreamed about a Honda Civic. Not once.

Ballaban wins this one. Next.

Everyone on here keeps saying how great this car looks. I wanna be cool too so I’m trying really hard. How about, this is the best looking current Lexus model? It’s definitely growing on me... am I woke yet?

Honestly, I’m shocked when I see an explorer without this crack.

Garbage? Idk, I don’t want to argue, but my experience with these and talking to a lot of folks with all types cars/trucks, I’ve never heard strong complaints about these trucks, especially not to the degree you’re claiming. I haven’t noticed these trucks wearing worse than other brands, especially considering how

I was just about to comment that this is interesting, my car does not have these (Chevy SS). A quick search of the owner’s manual suggests they’re located under the front splash guard. Thinking about it more, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen these on Chevy products, but I think I have on Cadillacs?

I understand all these comments about “buy over there, something you can’t get in the US”, but I would think that is exactly the appeal to bringing over an American car that can’t be had there. A car considered a “forbidden fruit” here in the US, won’t stand out at all over there. Something that is only available in

Absolutely! That being said, I do have a really terrible recommendation...

Thank you. There is a lot of negativity towards this, but I’d say you’re right. I doubt he has to pay to ship, and his mileage is minimal anyway.

I’m pretty sure a Scirocco doesn’t fit any of his requirements.

Somebody has a soft spot for US cars...

But why is it crying?

Yes, this makes you a dick. That being said, I too enjoy this game from time to time. It’s very satisfying.

Well done. Literally did the same exact thing this morning to a woman who was completely oblivious to how the zipper works... Normally, I would let this slide, but she had been tail gating for a while just to keep people from getting over in front of her. I respected the proper order of operations and, eventually, she

Idk why everyone is so defensive on this. I wasn’t trying to make a jab at Stef. I saw the pads smack, and I cringed. My bad. If I saw it get hit by a tree, I’d cringe too. The only “point” to my comment is that touchless could have gotten most of the salt without beating up the car more than necessary.

All automated car washes are more or less useless, but for spraying salt off in a pinch, touchless is better than nothing.

gah, watching that makes me cringe... car washes like that hurt my soul a bit. At least go touchless!

You are a worthless contributor to the collective Gawker sites (or whatever we call them now).

While I agree, I really love this car... I’d have to argue with service/maintenance/repair costs. Everyone I’ve known to own one of these has constantly complained about failures and cost of parts to replace. And most of those folks have since sold their cars because of this.
