Considering my post has been up for less than five minutes, I expect that to change. I’m not going to defend Tambor’s actions, but I do believe everything surrounding the culture he’s spent a 40 year career in needs to be understood. There’s no defending what he’s accused of doing, but he’s providing a better example

The only thing that will tell me if I want to see him working on another season of Arrested Development will be Jessica Walter. She knows him best, she’s the victim on that production and I trust her more to know what’s right and appropriate.

How about keeping in mind that neither Tambor nor Freeman have been convicted of any crimes or offenses that degrade an entire race of people, or that Tambor hasn’t been accused of anything that the tabloids haven’t been printing since the 1920's about “difficult actors”. The world is changing for the better in that

I’ve been thinking Buick for a while looking at that, but I think maybe more specifically we could be looking at a 1996 Regal without the two-tone cladding.

Mine too. Admittedly there’s a possible subconscious bias as I have a friend with a 2002ish Park Avenue, and have coindentally seen a few articles and videos about the car recently. But at the same time, it seems to fit a few of the points that stand out.

About two weeks after buying my 2013 Buick LaCrosse, I was driving across Interstate 80 through the Sierra Nevadas from Reno to Sacramento, and learned just how nice stability control can be.

These days, if it was running Windows it would probably be *stable*.

I’d like to counter your argument with the Buick LaCrosse interior. I had a 2013 for a year and absolutely loved it.

I worked one summer at a small regional newspaper doing ad design and page layout work, and we had one woman whose only job was to come in on the morning of layout and go over every single article that was due to be published to look for grammatical and spelling errors as the copy editor.

That might be at least in part because those people are automatically removed from the greys because they have an established history of posts that the authors or moderators have considered worth promoting. This is on a site by site basis as well, for example I’m automatically un-greyed on Jalopnik but noplace else.

We went with a Santa Fe Sport because it was the best option on the market in 2016, and I can’t say we wouldn’t do it again. But now, we’d at least be crawling over a TourX to see how it fared. Or we’d say screw it and buy something like a used Mercedes wagon with a crazy warranty.

The Equinox isn’t that much more expensive than the Trax, only a couple grand in base trim.

This is one of the things I really like about Nevada. Gas taxes are legally only allowed to be used for the roads and aren’t put into the general fund like most states do. Our roads are actually pretty decent, the biggest problem we have is trying to balance the growth of Las Vegas with the more rural rest of the

A Trax is so ridiculously small it’s basically just a cheap way to say you don’t have a boring sedan but still need space for car seats.

Had there been a good Fusion Wagon or TourX on sale in 2016 when we needed a car, there would be one of those in my driveway instead of a Santa Fe Sport. It’s a shame, really.

Paint that thing black and it’s a fuel efficient hearse, I love it.

Take a look at GPUs, higher end cellphones, etc. and you’ll see that just about everyone in the electronics manufacturing industry’s top levels is capable of some truly amazing stuff. The way I see it is that every major electronics manufacturer has the motivation and skill to pack a board this tightly whereas Tesla

None of those things he said are mutually exclusive in any way.

This doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. The thing is, electronics are relatively easy these days. Cars are Hard. People who say that cars/bodies are the easy part have no real understanding of just what the auto industry has had to do over the last century to get where they are today. It’s not just about body panel

I have the 17" RX580 version they’re offering today and agree with you. It’s a beast, build quality could be nicer but they put together a pretty decent system.
