DAAAMMMMNNN IT. Why can't all the beer just be in Portland? I think we've earned it.

I need to look harder for this. Most places have the 12.26.15 version, but I want both, damn it.
BTW if anybody's out in San Diego and want to take a relatively long drive, their brewpub has really good food and is in a really nice setting.
I don't see why freshness wouldn't improve even lesser beers.
I need to try this. I felt the 03.14.15 version was something of a lesser Enjoy By offering. Of course, that still makes it one hell of a beer, but just a notch below the other recent ones.
Quoting the villain from Demolition Man doesn't make you come across as an intelligent or not-deranged individual.
Wrong.
You would be wrong. Many people are blaming Oisin Tymon, and many more are speculating that he must have done something to deserve it, since Jeremy Clarkson is such a peach.
I've been through some shit in my personal life too, and dealt with stress at work and at home (and if I lose my job, I'm not rich), and I've never even felt the inclination to punch someone during the course of my employment.
Thank you! This is a reasonable response. It's entirely possible to be bummed out that someone whose work you enjoy got fired, without insisting that the firing was somehow undeserved.
The report literally says, "Oisin Tymon was the victim of an unprovoked physical and verbal attack." Try reading.
When I physically assault a co-worker (or anybody, for that matter), then I'll worry about glass houses.
Please cite your sources on Oisin Tymon being a douchebag, please. Especially since he's described in the report as "an important creative member of the Top Gear team who is well-valued and respected."
If I berate and punch one of my coworkers, even if I'm their superior, I get fired. Even as a one-time fuckup. Of course, this wasn't just a heat of the moment thing; Clarkson berated him, assaulted him, and then berated him some more.
By the way, off-topic: I'm not sure what kind of distribution Hopworks (Portland) has around the country or how often you get here, but if you ever get a chance, their Abominable Winter Ale is fucking spectacular, and this is from an unrepentant hophead who usually recoils at the mention of "winter" beer.
I don't generally do stouts/porters (and fuck Guinness forever, there's literally no beer I hate more), but I do like Firestone Walker's (Paso Robles, CA) Wookey Jack. It's a black IPA, with a big rye front and then a very hoppy finish - though I still prefer both the Union Jack IPA and Double Jack IIPA.
Right? I played sports at my high school (our mascot was a variety of bird) on the legendary* teams of that school, and if I heard they were changing the mascot I'd say, "OK, cool, I don't give a shit, I'm not in high school."
True - and like I said, Dredd has its issues and I'm working off my admittedly two-year-old memories of the film.
I agree. I'm tired of Anita Sarkeesian having the power to force game developers to do what she pleases all the time!
