Kyuss is classic. I'm a bit upset with myself that I don't have any on my laptop. Now I have yet another reason to rescue my crashed desktop.

Now playing

No idea where I came across this band, but I could listen to this album over and over.

If there isn't a homoerotic skit involving Oreos, I refuse to watch.

You nailed it, and yep, I'm going to be looking for donation centers next week. I'll be using that wiggle room so I can still enjoy the occasional glass of wine or beer.

Dear god, I want to try that tonight. "Herb butter" is my safe word.

I can listen to Iron Man once a week at most, but I've been advised to stay away from Iron Maiden. Mostly because they're terrible.

I go back and forth between preferring the new meandering stuff and the old emo stuff. They're like two completely different bands now.

Awesome! Please pass my thanks along to your wife.

I actually rarely make chili with beef anymore... I prefer the texture of turkey in it, oddly enough. Any wild game is going to be high in iron, so venison is out for me. That's a third very different way of preparing turkey on the thread, so I'll have to look up a recipe. Sounds like something I can guess about

Ostrich has 3 times as much iron as beef. Which is a shame, because when I've had an ostrich burger it was invariably fantastic. It does sound like I'm going to be experimenting a lot with turkey in the meantime, so I'll have to try that recipe.

I come from a southern family. Bacon fat is in every fridge in my extended family... I don't know the last time I cooked eggs without it.

Yeah, it's absurd what I can and can't eat. Turns out things like peanut butter and wilted spinach are iron inhibitors and good for me, but fresh spinach and soy are bad for me.

That's actually a great idea. Bacon fat is allowed in the diet. Bacon isn't. I appreciate the spice suggestions, too.

I just looked it up, and, unfortunately, lamb and duck contain even more iron than beef. It looks like I am limited to white fish, chicken, and turkey. Even things like soy and salmon have about three times as much iron as chicken!

Dieting DUAN.

+1 on the music choice Sean... one of my favorite albums of all time.

My god... I always forget how reading anything that man writes is an experience in itself. There's nothing like even 5 paragraphs of his work.

I had to stop following DadBoner. It's starting to go from the realm of edgy to "I really hope I don't have to testify in court after reading this."

If you've never sprinted through a hospital, I highly recommend it. People totally stare at you. It's awesome.
