If we can’t ban bump stocks after Las Vegas, an attachment that literally exists only to degrade accuracy and enable guns to dump ammo at much higher rates than is legally allowed by other means than I have zero faith that buybacks will work in the US. I 100% support gun control measures but it will never happen here.

Nobody is selling their guns back. The people who own them view them as an extension of their freedom. You don’t sell you’re freedom. $1000 is nothing to most gun owners, that’s ammo money for a month.

Yeah, I’m not opposed to gun control I just have no faith it could ever be executed successfully in the US. Conservative people here would rebel and it would break the country. It’s never happening.

Still beating the drum eh? I have to disagree with you, there is nothing we can do to stop these. Too many guns out there and the country has pretty decisively shown it will never give them up.

+1 khakis.

I feel like I’ve read this story half a dozen times around these parts for years. Guess the universe finally aligned so that these sexual assault accusations stick. The herd mind is strange to me, nobody cares until all of a sudden they do.

Hey Univision, hire Gary Wetzel full time please. This is a great article, all his stuff kicks ass.

Wha? Those people are dumb. He’s hunky and she’s hot. Dumb internet trolls are dumb, don’t put too much cred in loud comments, just look at them right?

I don’t understand why eating bugs is supposed to be terrifying. This movie was totally Luke warm IMO.

Dude, the mom who died in the car, or the lady with the asshole husband... Now that I think about it that movie maybe isn’t Jez friendly,

Ill add watch it with subtitles, The English dub is fucking awful.

Netflix had a Norwegian film titled The Wave which I expected to hate watch but was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Natural disaster tsunami in a fjord style, I recommend it.

Yeah, there is some load shift between systems but I’m at 175'000 miles with the original clutch on one of my trucks and I routinely engine brake on long descents. I think the added wear is negligible and it helps prevent over-taxing your brakes. Frankly I think this whole discussion about if it’s okay or not is car

In a core swap you return the used part and receive a price credit towards the new or rebuilt one you replace it with, usually it’s a significant discount off of the price of a singular new or rebuilt part. The “core” that you turn in is then rebuilt and sold again as a replacement. It’s pretty much 1:1 recycling. The

In assuming they would treat it as a core swap like with alternators or pumps. Really not wasteful at all.

My guess is it’ll be small and simple enough to be viewed as a disposable/replaceable part. When the seals wear out just get a new one, sort of like brake pads. I agree its a little puzzling but rotaries can be tiny and are pretty simple once you work out the engineering part.

There are nude male replicants with their bits on display portrayed in “womb pods” in a few scenes.

Well, this is a world that established that pleasure model replicants were a thing in the original film and markets perfect AI hologram companions in this one. I didn’t think any of that was exploitative of women because it was all technology that was part of this fictional world. The replicant-hologram threesome

Personally I really digged the story. I would be disappointed if its not up for best picture come Oscar season.

I saw it and I thought it was great! Everything in it is artistic rather than exploitative in my opinion (there is significant nudity and violence). If you liked the original then I think you may enjoy this one more, despite its prodigious run time I felt engaged and invested the whole time. It is a visual indulgence,
