Yeah, I haven’t heard much about any hybrid trucks being available though. I always thought having an electric assist for low speed but retain the diesel motor for the highway stuff would be a good idea.

As a freight truck driver this gives me nightmares about wrapped pallets disintegrating under acceleration. But yeah, electric makes a lot of sense for local delivery routes. This would not work at all for long haul jobs as they exist today.
