This is not a life hack. This is border line dangerous. It won't save you money, it won't save you time. It is potentially dangerous. How did this make it on to Lifehacker?

I can see this being mathematically a solution, but not realistically. It gave me a chuckle. I'll take my chances and a credit card.
At least one pot (12 cups). I usually start the morning by brewing a fresh pot. By late morning it'll be gone. I drink out of my favorite cup, a Venti mug from Starbucks. If I am out I'll get a Venti black coffee no room from Starbucks. If I stay home I will brew another pot and I might drink most if not all of it…
You beat me to it. I was going to reply with something similar but you beat me to it.
This was a such a smart and thoughtful episode. I have been waiting for a break between repurposing rubber bands and this was it. Good work, Adam. The guest had great input and spoke to the audience in the correct context. Well done. I, for one, can't wait for other Special Episodes.
I use 1 and 3 all the time. I think the first time I ever commented on anything was here a lifehacker. I didn't agree with something and said as much in my comment. I was immediately jumped on by another commenter and he labeled me a troll. I didn't even know what a troll was or how to respond. I let the issue with…
I don't agree with you about iCloud and Dropbox. I don't think that Dropbox is a replacement for iCloud. On the contrary, I think that iCloud is a poor, very poor, attempt at syncing from Apple. Dropbox is, and always will be, the leader and benchmark in syncing services. I wish Apple would stop trying to overtake…
I use Podcasts thinking that it will seamlessly sync with my Apple TV2 but it hasn't and I don't think anything else will. Why is Apple TV not included in any of the the cool stuff?
I would use more of the 3rd party apps if they fully replaced the stock apps. Unfortunately, the 3rd party apps just double up the functionality and that bothers me. My choice is not Podcasts or Downcast, it is Podcasts and Downcast.
Mountain biking. I like to crash a lot. I like to workout outside. I guess I eventually got bored with gyms and all the restrictions that they put on workouts there. Don't drop weights, music, sharing, cleaning everything. All those are necessary when you share space and equipment with others but it can be a real…
I've used a second shower rod in both my bathrooms for years. I come in from a tough workout and shower in my clothes. Then I hang the wet clothes in the shower. I don't shake mud all over the place when I disrobe and I can prevent harsh washings in a machine by a thorough rinse of my workout gear.
That's great that he found a loop hole, but he is still satisfied with table scraps. The mere idea of an Early Termination Fee is absurd. Pay someone to not use their service? If that is the case I am going to charge every reader of my comment to Not wash their cars.
You're right. I can't get too pumped about features that have been out for a long time on other phone. I find out I can live without them then stop thinking about it.
I don't have any plans to upgrade my iPhone 4 immediately so I wonder what features are going to be available to what phones. I already know that Siri won't be available and I won't be able to use FaceTime over 3G. One of the biggest features I am waiting to see is syncing podcasts across phone-ATV2-iMac-MBA.
This is great tip. I use a varient to keep most business that I frequent. A caveat: instead of Pizza as the contact I add 'Papa Johns' the individual stores as separate numbers. I can make custom labels on my iPhone. Instead of the 'Main' for the label I'll use the street that it is located on 'Genessee'.
These are cool, but Mountain Lion killed my RSS screensaver option. I have this guys feed up ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/atb2005/ ). Luckily, I can still use an RSS screensaver on my ATV2
Do you know how much this has bothered me? I could never wrap my mind around "Why not Ethernet? Why do I have to have WiFi turned on on my hard wired iMac?"
Cool video. I don't have a set up that would require this but I have always been curious about how it was installed. I was surprised that you used barbed fittings. In my experience, barbed fittings have always been the least secure and made for ultra-low pressure systems. I have used the compression fittings on…
I most dislike the uncomfortably high volume at which people talk on their phones in public. There is something physiologically annoying about being able to hear one side of a conversation and the loud cell phone talker exacerbate this by including everyone around them in that one half of a conversation.
I use Evernote exclusively as my immediate capture box. I have it set up on my iPhone in the dock so I can hit the button with minimal scrolling. I have moved most of my documents there for the incredible search features. I have reduced the hierarchal folder because the searching is so robust. If I want to work with…
