As a PC player I think you tend to ignore all the micro problems that you’re continously and probably unconsciously solving. Like oh these bluetooth headphones won’t connect again. You do the 5 or 6 steps needed to get it right. It maybe takes a minute. But meanwhile there is some less savvy or novice PC user out

Nah, Sorry.

For the purpose of cars and trucks, the terms motor and engine are technically interchangeable.

I’ll always opt for the convenience of consoles than the hassle and maintenance of PCs. I’m tired of playing Computer Science Doctor having to spend hours on forums to solve things when my dang box should run the dang thing when I push ‘play’.

LS engines are some of the most reliable ones out there.

They’re probably all at 100k miles and he’s gotta rotate between each one while the other 3 are broke because it’s Chev-ro-let

So he’s a boomer because he limited himself to GM only? Also, dogshit? That’s a C5 and C6 Z06 sitting in there. 2 of the most iconic high performance Corvettes out there.

Probably redid the kitchen at some point and put the old cabinets in the garage rather than in the dumpster.

Because they came out of the kitchen during a remodel and are therefore free.

They probably came out of a kitchen.

My G8 GT was cheap, it comfortably holds 2 car seats and a pile of gear, it’s RWD, has ~400 hp, and doesn’t have the stigma of driving a caddy or the repair bills of a BMW.

If anything the pictures make me believe that the guy had modifications done professionally and correctly. When I see ads for souped up Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes, etc sitting on gravel driveways outside a run down looking house, I usually assume they want to get rid of it because they can’t afford to fix what they

Only for perpendicular parking.  If the lot is angle parking; you will pull out and be going the wrong way down the aisle.

I bet you drive a Prius!     ;-)

My Inlaws have a Denali. That thing has a very nice ride and is very comfortable. Just curious, what do you consider a "decent car?"

I’ve driven decent cars. Unless you’re talking about things like road feel and handling dynamics (in which case stop shopping three row SUVs...) these do drive and ride nicely.

My wife drives a 2012 Yukon XL and with 90k on the clock it’s got no creaks or groans except the driver’s door hinge

GM can’t win. For years the complaint was how similar they all were, now they’re too different.

It just sounds like you’ve never driven an SUV.

I don’t know what the current numbers are. In the mid-2000s, the $2,000/vehicle for UAW (including current and retired UAW members) was accurate for Ford and believed to be a bit low for GM.  After the 2007 contracts began to shift that to the UAW by way of the VEBA, I believe the cost differences are largely worked
