Coming back in April! Black Magick is a really unique book due to its particular use of color.

The two issues in this article were my favorites this week, but I also wanted to mention Superman and Green Arrow.
I'd second Revival. It'll be wrapping up soon, and there are some excellent hardcovers of the series out.
Really glad these two are the focus of the article, as they were my two favorites from this week. Deadman, in particular, feels like a throwback to the 70s/80s gothic style comics, but with a fresher, more modern sensibility. And it comes in a wonderful premiere package.
I would just like to note how much I prefer EVS's version of Soranik to the otherwise very talented Rafa Sandoval and his helmet-hair version of her.
I generally feel the same about Teen Titans. The art and Ben Percy's Green Arrow work have me looking forward to the ongoing series though.
I expect they'll put Vision in a drawer for a little while after this.
I really need to catch up on this series. I remember reading the first issue and enjoying it, but losing it in the wonky schedule. iFanboy had a nice podcast with Hardman and Bechko a week or two ago that reminded me I enjoyed the premise. And Hardman's art.
Issue 2 was a big improvement on the Rebirth issue and issue 1. Williams is a solid writer who generally has a good grasp on character voices, but the first issue felt so thin. The second issue allows him to show off those character actions a bit more. The main problem with the series is that you're only getting 10-12…
I appreciate that the crossover was built directly from previous issues and addresses some of the plot elements and character interactions layered in by the regular writers, rather than serving purely as a fill-in. Rossmo's art on the first part of the crossover certainly didn't hurt.
Once Vision is done, I'm in the same boat.
Green Arrow is another great example of the advanced schedule of Rebirth providing opportunities for these planned mini-arcs. Byrne's consistent animation-quality art was a big plus here too.
Still catching up, but I had a few issues I really loved this week.
I am… anxious about Kyle coming back into Venditti's story. He was handled SO differently by Tom King in Omega Men, and I also could. not. stand. the forced relationship between him and Carol. It's a recognizably petty concern, but one I can't really get away from.
The Sinestro/Guy scene was some great Ethan Van Sciver work, and Venditti has really improved in his characterization since he started on this series after Johns.
Wonder Woman is definitely excellent and continues to handle the two-a-month schedule better than any other series. Special shout-out to the lettering in the latest issue.
Oof. Never a good sign.
On Green Arrow, Stephen Byrne's art is great for this mini-arc (I miss mini-arcs!) focusing on Emiko.
I missed any conversation from last week on Lazarus. The last panel of #24 was fantastic. Still probably my favorite ongoing.
Neither have I. I've been meaning to. I loved the old Tick show, but it's a very different comedy beast than Superior Foes (or a comparable show) would be.
