We're in need of a good superhero comedy. I don't think Powerless is going to be it.

The typical Rebirth stuff.
If you enjoy Marcos Martin and Vaughn together (and of course you do), I highly recommend either Private Eye, also from Panel Syndicate for a pay-what-you-like cost, or Dr. Strange: The Oath.
Love this series. One of my favorites. Hopefully Hickman doesn't run out of steam on this one the way he did on Manhattan Projects.
He just bought that new boat…
I expect a lot of webcomic readers are fairly quiet about it, but they may be evangelizing to others elsewhere. I don't think I've ever commented on a webcomic I read (though I read far fewer now than I once did). But most are probably pretty dedicated readers.
Big ones for me this week were Wonder Woman #5 and Detective Comics #939 Rucka, Sharp (who was signed on as exclusive this week!), and Martin are just weaving an excellent tale, and as a longterm Rucka fan I loved seeing the return of Sasha Bordeaux.
Very curious to see what DC is going to do with Joelle Jones on exclusive. Big fan of her art.
Based on what he's said in interviews, I believe bringing in Hugo Strange was King's idea. King has also dropped several hints that he's been heavily involved with planning alongside Johns, Snyder, and others on whatever DCU event is coming in a year or two. The quality of that remains to be seen, but I very much…
Still ignoring looking for a new place to live until after the weekend. Had a nice several days up on Cape Cod enjoying shellfish and sun. Hosting a friend this weekend who's on his last hurrah before fatherhood in the next month, planning to enjoy some good food and plenty of board games.
Very eager to read this on Marvel Unlimited. Kate Niemczyk's art looks like a major draw, and I've read a few interviews describing the puzzle box narrative that have intrigued me. Definitely curious.
Batman's stubborn. It is known.
After Snyder just "killed" Batman, I'd be surprised if there wasn't some sort of rug-pulling at play here with King's foreshadowing of another "death" of Batman.
Re: Detective, I think it's the army's questionable choice of targets and application of extreme force that rankles Batman more than their adoption of his tactics.
This week I really enjoyed Batman, Green Arrow, and Black Widow.
Yeah… yeah… but it's not my fault! It's just what happens around DC.
Yeah, month to month. Perfectly legal, just in very poor taste, especially among friends. Don't worry, I'm in northern VA; all my friends are lawyers and ready to press a legal argument anytime there's one to be made.
Preacher, though hopefully I'll be fixing that while I'm on vacation this week. I'm worried this might be a "too much hype" scenario though.
Those are two VERY different movies.
Vision, man. I don't typically get very emotional about comics, but this creative team nailed it. The prayer scene hit me HARD. And then he comes BACK to it at the end in a brutal way. Ugh.
