This is somehow the most predictable thing.

Boy, Doc Shaner is something special.
I was finally able to get The Fix #1 alongside this week's #2. It definitely feels like a worthy successor to Superior Foes. Spencer and Lieber are a phenomenal team, and I feel like Lieber's cartooning gets better all the time. A funny book with horrible people.
Minutemen was absolutely the only worthwhile product of that unfortunate initiative. I have it for free as a surplus copy from the Library of Congress, and I was shocked how much I enjoyed it, given my antipathy to the whole affair. All Darwyn.
Goddammit.
CSI has ended. This is a sign of the End Times. Keep your eye on L&O: SVU for the breaking of the final seal.
I noticed that too. Apparently DC is all screwy mapwise.
So… given that map, I'm pretty sure Arrow just nuked my hometown. Which…
That'll do.
I am so down with Barry actually being the Emissary of the Prophets. Cannot wait for the Captain Ben Sisko cameo.
I recently read through all of The Fade Out in one sitting. I think it does a fantastic job of capturing a lot of the themes and storytelling quirks Brubaker and Phillips like to throw into their work. Great series that I think stuck the landing a little better than Fatale (which was no slouch).
EDIT: I'm swamped, so I'll chime in when I can get a good moment, but I just wanted to give kudos for rhyming "today" with "bustier."
The loss of Kristen in the new run really turned me off from picking up Soule's Daredevil. Waid built up that character so well.
Hmm… pretty fair. I like the comparison to Epiphany (even down to the hair color more or less). I didn't think she stole the spotlight too much, and I thought she bounced off the rest of the bat family fairly well, though most of Harper's best interactions happened in the Eternal books under Tynion's pen, as someone…
Which, good for Greg.
I don't think I have an individual comic I prize particularly. I'm very pleased with my Absolute editions of Long Halloween and Dark Victory however. That Tim Sale art looks utterly gorgeous in those behemoths.
I mostly go to the TV stuff for snark, honestly, and rarely expect earnest discussion… which is fine. There are always exceptions though. Weirdly, I think the Survivor group is my other favorite group here.
The consistent writer/artist pairing is such a rare thing in comics these days. This was a particularly good one. I love reading or listening to interviews with these two, who are such an odd couple and yet clearly two very good friends.
CBR hates everything though. Like… everything. It's so toxic over there.
Is there an active dislike for Harper? I haven't seen that as much elsewhere. People seemed to enjoy her interactions with the extended Bat-family in the Eternal books, and there was talk of hope for a new Birds of Prey with Harper, Spoiler, Batgirl, and Black Canary at one point (obviously superseded with Rebirth).
