Still loving this season. I get that some people are miffed that there was a lot of telling and not showing with Wigglesworth, but sometimes people who are otherwise very laidback and friendly are INCREDIBLY boring, and it seems that was the case here. I'll happily sacrifice Wigglesworth's screentime for the bounty of

This show is entirely too good. I can't believe there's only four episodes left this season.

Tom King should be put on Green Lantern whenever Venditti steps off.

Right, things AVClubbers love, the first: making up acronyms.

In network television or politics? DO GO ON.

Surprisingly powerful!

Don't you mean the FCC? Federal Communications Commission? What is this FFC?

I didn't love the original Bloodshot volume (too 90s), but this new stuff is quite good. X-O Manowar is Venditti's best thing right now, and I've enjoyed most of Dysart's and Fred Van Lente's work at the publisher as well.

Related, Guice is pretty good on Bloodshot Reborn, also by Lemire.

To be fair, Quicksilver's not a mutant now/never was apparently.

I think you enjoy Epting's style or you don't, but his style is his style, and it's looked the same since I first encountered him in Captain America.

Tim has certainly been written better than he was here, but I think he works best directly under Tynion's or Seeley's pen in the New52, to the extent he works since the reboot at all.

Loved Paper Girls 2 this week. Chiang and Vaughn are fantastic and that two page spread (I don't want to give it away) was killer.

That was the word from Didio and Lee a while back, and the creative team said it was because they needed time to get ahead on it. We'll see if it holds true. I hope it does, because it's been an enjoyable, light satire.

Beyond the Batman stuff I talked about elsewhere, I loved Sinestro 15 and Black Magik 1 this week.

Seems we're both on Batman Corner, so I'll just respond here. B&R Eternal's focus is really doing it wonders, even if the art was a bit of a letdown this week. On Robin: Son of Batman, I completely agree, but Gleason's art is so, so nice. Batgirl was fine, but not necessarily my cup of tea. I am intrigued by the hints

Yeah, no, I loved this episode a lot. The new Firestorm was a lot of fun. It was all just a lot of fun, possibly the most purely fun episode this season so far.

I really enjoyed Soule's Swamp Thing run, and he made Red Lanterns readable. But I just haven't been able to get on board with much of his Marvel work.

Stop trying to make Inhumans happen, Marvel.

It hasn't, really. And did you miss Kurt from that Team 7 book no one read? Because he's back with amnesia and randomly tagging along!
