I'll never let go of hating NBC. Never. It's the one thing they can't cancel.

Velcoro's definitely coming back next season. I mean, Melisandre's RIGHT there.

You'll want to tune out about 10 minutes in to this 40 minute surrealist masterpiece. Resist that urge.

It's very reminiscent of the No Man's Land/Bruce Wayne: Fugitive era of Batman, where Bruce isolated himself too much to his own detriment. So not without precedent.

I think the Arkham franchise has always been about Batman and the Joker and that duality. That becomes incredibly clear with Arkham Knight. I think they do a fine job of exploring that relationship, aided expertly by Conroy and Hamill. Lifting up any other villain just wasn't part of the franchise for them.

Definitely. Jonathan Banks has a very unique voice, something I don't think I noticed until Gordon started speaking here.

Origins was worth it to me for the cutscene into the mind of the Joker. Excellent job by Baker filling in for Hamill. Game was ok. I also don't have the overwhelming reverence for Asylum that most do.

I gave almost no shits about upgrading the Batmobile, and sorely paid for it against that stupid Cloudburst boss. DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE, FUTURE PLAYERS!

So after playing for a while (I'm at around 80%+ completion), I have to agree with everyone who said the Batmobile was overused. It was fun at first, but the best part of the Arkham games is and always has been the freeflow combat as Batman.

It's restarting after Secret Wars. Realistically… it's just continuing. But whatever: Secret Wars.

Death is the very typical Western hero in that way, which I think is Hickman's intention. Archibald Chamberlain out-Littlefingers Littlefinger though.

Batgirl and Gotham Academy also both remain at $3. It's very scattershot, and I can't say I grasp the reasoning overall.

I followed suit. I demoted it from "Week Of" to "Two Months Later Digitally After Price Drop" to "Nope" in record time.

Venditti's strongest work is on X-O Manowar over at Valiant, I think. But I'd hasten to add that I don't think that book is anything particularly special either.

The $4 price tag on We Are Robin is a mistake, especially if the book is aimed at younger readers. I didn't think Bermejo's writing was as bad as some, but it also wasn't spectacular. I loved the art, but I'm curious to see how the art rotation will work since DC has announced three or four different pencillers for

I'm pretty much on the same page there. Most things read better in trades from Image, I find. I have a few key exceptions… notably Lazarus and Invincible.

Haven't quite finished my stack for this week yet. From what I've read:

I did the same thing. Ah well. They're still good!

You say hilariously edgy, I say The Rock era Scorpion King.

What are you playing on? If on the PS4, you can switch the controls to Toggle Mode which makes the left trigger the default brake/reverse and R1 a switch to battle mode. Infinitely better and not sure why that wasn't the default.
