This is a major shame. Been playing the PS4 version the last two nights, and it's incredible.

Would you advise reading the recent volumes of Prophet without reading the older stuff? I hate to do this normally, but the prospect of 90s-era stuff makes me sad.
I love DC's characters, but Marvel charges 3.99 for the vast majority of their comics WHILE providing a digital code along with them.
Interesting, only one I haven't been reading is Prophet. Revival (mentioned somewhere else in these comments) is also a great one from Seeley and Norton along these lines.
What are the other three? Lazarus and what else? (I'm just making that choice for you.)
I may have already missed this conversation, having been on vacation, but has the AV Club already discussed DC Comics' breakout new character: Nick Lachey, The Twixster?
It becomes even better after that last page, honestly.
Revival is so wonderful. Just finished Volume 5 myself in the last month. Like many quietly great Image series, I'm afraid it's been a victim of its own quality, where it's assumed to be great and so doesn't get discussed in the same way the New Image #1 of the Week often does. And those deluxe hardcovers are very…
Argh. I'm waiting to pick up East of West Vol 4 until I have a good number of trades to order from Instocktrades. Love that series, glad to hear it's continuing to impress.
I hadn't been reading nearly as many comics during DC's Convergence drought, but it's been great to dive back in with this month's comics so far. I've been reading five or six a week, so rather than go through them all, I'll just note my standouts so far:
I like the line from the Vulture interview about not cutting his hair "just in case, for other roles." Suuuure, Kit. Suuuuure.
I saw both of these! It was the weirdest, best double feature ever.
Oh, absolutely. It built to Dan basically giving away that Carolyn had to use her idol.
It's the closest thing Survivor can have to a recurring joke.
Kudos for building a narrative, Survivor editors.
Unwatchable!
NBC, dammit!
It's a travesty!
I just want to say how perfectly pleasant this comment thread is after seeing the scorched earth inflicted upon Sepinwall's guest reviewer over at Hitfix.
Using Convergence to catch up on some collections I've picked up, as well as going through my pre-New52 Batman backlog.
Come for the coaching, stay for the undead bartending.
"People are Talking" feels like NBC is giving their shows aspirational titles now.
