Foreign nationals can bring their foreign spec cars to the US, they just have to take them with home after their stay.
“Where will you be, when diarrhea strikes?”
Go on...
I thought it was the “anal, going in dry” look?
A rare and valuable 2014 Nissan Sentra was involved in a 3-car accident on Houston’s Southwest Freeway, suffering…
Thing of beauty right there.
It probably isn’t better, but that also probably won’t be a problem for very long. It’s a 2.0T...just wait until the aftermarket figured out how to squeeze 400BHP out of it.
This gets all the stars. Some years ago there was this beautiful, low-mileage 99 that kept popping up for sale in my local market (Portugal), so I tried to convince my wife that was the perfect car for her. I wasn’t successful, unfortunately.
I’m assuming you keep the 1980’s 900 Turbo in the garage.
I was going to say this. Either an old Saab or Volvo (Volvo 240 wagon is usually my answer to all of life’s problems), since they are supposed to be engineered to withstand harsh winters and the things that come with it, like salt all over the roads. But I really don’t know whether Michigan really overdoes it when it…
Not bad, gotta love cars had for cheap.
heh between you and my coworker, you must be pretty much keeping Europarts in business by yourselves. I don’t think a week’s gone by that he hasn’t had some shipment of parts for his 900 since he got it...
It depends on what you’re looking for. If you want to keep it running, things are in decent supply - especially since the later models were using GM drivetrains. If you want to keep it pretty, or repair trim, interior, etc. - things get....a little sketchier.
I tell anyone new to motorcycles that there will come a time when you start laughing uncontrollably inside your helmet. A private joy that is just you and the moment. Coming around a corner upon a beautiful landscape, executing a downshift>turn>exit perfectly, or a girl on the back holding on extra tight. Those…
I imagine it can’t be too bad with the magic of the internet. Plus with three Saabs, what’s the likelihood of all three of them breaking at the exact same time? (No idea honestly, I’m more of a BMW guy)
You’re not wrong, but these are all Saabs. Good luck finding parts. A coworker of mine has a 900 turbo. That’s even worse than the 2007 9-3 wagon he had, that he also couldn’t find parts for...
You see a problem, I see a financially smart person with three cars that were all probably bought used for cash. Owning three cars without any payments is a dream come true.
